Vik .... you are such a tease.  :)

Please do bid if you want to.

These would only have been produced for US preview screenings and maybe only this one.

I have never seen them as a promo item here in the UK.

Yup ... I actually bid way higher than I intended to, until I decided it was ridiculous to spend so much for, basically, a packet of Kleenex!  :o

Hi Lin, AB,

No sadly it was not me. My comment comes from being outbid from time to time by Eastwoodcollector.

We went head to head on the Bob Peak drawing and that I was not going to give up.

We have spoken via email and he seems a decent guy with a very good collection.

Oh. I know what you mean. I've been outbid by him too, once or twice.

He's a die hard collector  8)

Yes. That's comforting  ;)

Has he ever posted here, by the way?

This was on eBay today

Quote
Bridges of Madison County original movie crew ball cap

Starting bid:   US $500.00

Clint Eastwood and production staff gave movie crew cap to my husband while working security for The Bridges of Madison County. He was involved directly with Clint Eastwood on many occasions. The cap is in excellent condition and includes the red circular stitched stamp  that reads A MOVIE. Was only given to people on the last day on completion of movie. Has never been worn. Black cap with colorful embroidered stitching of the famous bridge of The Bridges of Madison County.

Auction ended, nobody bid on it.
No wonder, though. I think $500 is a little high for a cap ... unless Clint himself wore it  ;)

Has anyone got any idea how much the US 8"10" lobby cards set is worth?

The reason I'm askin this is because I recently purchased it on GEMM -didn't expect to find it here, but well I did
The thing is, I wasn't looking for anything in particular. Pure chance. I was just surfing

Anyway. I paid $18 (s&h included!) and the set was still sealed, had never been used  :o

On Moviegoods, they're selling it for $49.99, but I don't know if it's the 8"10" or the 11"14" set

I think I got lucky.
The quality is awesome. The pictures are so bright

Thanks AB.  Yeah, that's still way too much.  Especially for a seller with a zero feedback rating, who is offering no photos or other verification.  ::)
