Not to change the subject, but how difficult IS it to write out the words "you", 'you're" and "said", use apostrophes, proper punctuation and the shift key? Internet shorthand may speed up the poster a few fractions of a second, but it takes the readers longer to try to decipher what's being said. And, if you want to be taken seriously here and on any message board, proper writing skills help a lot.

And please (and this goes for vik as well) disagree with members as much as you want, but keep personal insults out of your posts and try to respect other members' opinions. 1. are you saying eriksson couldn't play players - i am asking you who could he not play?

I meant, moriniho wont let terry and lampard play full matches. Most of the players who come off at half time are instructed to play 45 mins only, or ofcourse erriksson would play the strongest team for full 90 mins. But Club managers are the ones who instruct this. Take Emre for newcastle an example, he went on international duty and got injured for 6 weeks. Sounsess now says he shouldnt ave let him play because he is an important player.

and yes moriniho is a baby, and i hate him

cool - thanks for making it clearer  :) what you say is very interesting

emre isn't english is he? so he doesn't really apply to england

as far as i know eriksson said bar injury he was fielding the strongest team - so maybe lampard and terry just are not required

and thats how eriksson should view it and should have played the players for 90 mins so they can play together like brazil etc.

ok, No, emre isnt english, but its the same for all countries as souness said. Not so sure about Terry but Lampard is deffinetly a first team player, as i said moriniho will have told erriksson not to play him a full game, due to big games in the premiership and he doesnt want them to get too tired or injured. Club managers can only tell them how long to play if its a frendly as far as i know, they couldnt decide how long they can play in the world cup, and that what it was a friendly.

cool

my view is eriksson lets the fans down and as far as i can see he doesn't care and so should be gone

as for terry i don't like his way of playing so he is no loss
lampard is the better england player but come the day if they don't put the effort into playing then it shows

and usually thats what happens the lack of practice lets them down - david beckham then tries to do everything

as from what you have pointed out nothing is going to change

my view is eriksson didn't have to make the changes
at half time thats has always been his downfall and will continue to be

Ok its your view but its a fact that club managers can decide how long there plaers play in frendlies, erriksson cannot do anything about it and thats a fact

yeh you were to quick i edited that bit because it wouldn't matter whatever eriksson did as far as i am concerned he isn't very good - whoever he had it wouldn't make any difference

each world cup they go into camp where they have all the players? nothing to do with managers then

as you an see i am intersted in your viewpoint because i
think other countries have the same problem but why are they getting further in the trophy games?

well yes, erriksson hasnt done too bad, England always play well in competitive games, I think when we played Denmark, England treated it too muc like a frendly and were not up for the fight as much as denmark. Dont get me wrong, Denmark took there cances well, lets just see how we do in the world cup

>:(                                                                                                   Right now im sitin depressed with Celtic gettin thumped again. However im optimistic as again Celtic were cheated with a shoking refereeing performance which unfortunently i have witnessed several times in these games. Two sending offs again players were both wearing hoops agin both were not deserved. However up untill they were sent off we were dominating so cause for hope.

looks like van nistleroy is back to form

celtic starting the season with a bit of bite, yeh so much rests on the refereeing

thought west ham were a bit unlucky as well, not sure that was a tackle from behind, this is football

Fluke goal from Chelsea..... >:( >:( >:(
they don't look an invincable as last year, a good sign for the chasing pack, arsenal looked far from their best
a 90th minute goal to beat wigan and a fluke against a weak looking arsenal (77 minutes before they tested petr cech  :o)
this is throwing all conceptions of the league on it's head, maybe they pushed too hard last year and it's catching up with them

Many people say after a team such as chelsea who have a huge squad of huge players win the title then become cocky and all want first team places. I could see this happening as it is already starting to with robben. i mean what was the big fuss over getting essien when he is on the bench, he will hardly ever drop lampard. Look at Parker who just moved to Newcastle, he is a quality player who was wasted for 2 years, got unhappy cos he was never picked, this will happen again and again. Chequek-Book team, thats all ill say.

i'll be delighted if the hammers stay up this season, they are a premiership team, no doubt, their history alone demands it.
