1 P.S. I Love You
2 Do You Want To Know a Secret
3 Love Me Do

This game is only going to get more interesting and more difficult as we go along.  I don't think there's any more Ringo songs to help us out!   :D

It looks like we have 131 songs left. I recorded all the MP3s and put them in a folder, then as we eliminated the songs, I moved the eliminated songs to a separate folder. So, unless I forgot to move some, that's the number. I'll be double checking each round to make sure I didn't forget to move any.

At five songs a round, it looks like the second run-through will take about 26 days.

Well, we had 43 rounds the first go around, all with five songs each.  That equals 215 songs.  We eliminated two songs each round, which equals 86.  215 minus 86 equals 129 songs remaining.  Looks like there might two pesky files trying to hide in the Good folder -- probably two rebels from the same round....

EDIT: By my calculations (which assumes Matt will have a couple rounds with six songs (or in one case four songs) to make things even, but which could be a wrong assumption) it will take 93 rounds to get to the final 29 songs and 102 rounds to get to the final 11 songs.  Anyway you look at it, we're only a little more than a third of the way through the game.

Yup, and I found them. "Old Brown Shoe" and "Octopus's Garden" wanted to have another shot at survival. Too bad for them.

That ends Round 44. This time we lose "P.S. I Love You" and "Do You Want To Know A Secret".

BEATLES SONG SURVIVOR - ROUND FORTY-FIVE

As before, vote off two of the following songs, and list an alternate third choice that will only be used as a tie-breaker if needed. The three surviving songs from this round will be brought back later in the game to compete with the other rounds' survivors.

1.  "Anna (Go To Him)" (Alexander);  Lead vocal: Lennon, with McCartney and Harrison
2.  "Boys" (Dixon/Farrell); Lead vocal: Starr, with McCartney and Harrison
3.  "Twist And Shout" (Russell/Medley); Lead vocal: Lennon, with McCartney and Harrison
4.   "From Me To You" (Lennon/McCartney); Lead vocal: Lennon, with McCartney
5.   "She Loves You" (Lennon/McCartney); Lead vocal: Lennon, with McCartney and Harrison

(When I end a round and start the next, I'll need to take the songs from the previous round down so that the next round's songs will fit on the website. Therefore the links in each round will still show up, but they won't work once that round has ended.)

You can join in the game anytime. You don't need to have been voting from the beginning to play.

That ends Round 45. This time we lose "Anna" and "Boys".

BEATLES SONG SURVIVOR - ROUND FORTY-SIX

1.  "You Really Got A Hold On Me" (Robinson); Lead vocal: Lennon, with McCartney
2.  "Money" (Bradford/Gordy); Lead vocal: Lennon, with McCartney and Harrison
3.  "Please Mister Postman" (Dobbin/Garrett/Garman/Brianbert); Lead vocal: Lennon, with McCartney and Harrison
4.   "Roll Over Beethoven" (Berry); Lead vocal: Harrison
5.   "It Won't Be Long" (Lennon/McCartney); Lead vocal: Lennon, with McCartney and Harrison

1. Anna
2. Boys

Hi Jed. I know it's hard to pick a third choice, but list one anyway in future rounds. I don't count the third choices at all unless there's a tie at the end of the round, then I'll use them so we can break the tie and move onto the next round. Anyway... glad to see you playing.  O0

Speaking of difficulty picking songs... just looking at the titles, this looks like it should be an easy round. But I just listened to the songs and they all sound great to me tonight. But, here goes anyway....

1) Please Mister Postman
2) Roll Over Beethoven

3) You Really Got a Hold on Me
