1 I Wanna Be Your Man (It's about time!) 2 I Want To Hold Your Hand 3 This Boy I love "You Can't Do That." I hope it stays. Ironically, tonight I noticed the lounge band in the casino I work at broke into a Beatles set, which I'd never noticed them do before, and "You Can't Do That" was one of the songs they performed, and though it was hardly a very good cover, I still was singing it to myself and could barely concentrate. "Can't Buy Me Love" is reminding me that I need to go ahead and buy the dvd for A Hard Day's Night. I saw the movie a few years ago on the big screen back in Ohio, but I was very disappointed that they didn't have the volume turned up in the theatre, because I wanted it to rock!

That ends Round 72. This time we lose "I Wanna Be Your Man" and "I Want To Hold Your Hand". BEATLES SONG SURVIVOR - ROUND SEVENTY-THREEAs before, vote off two of the following songs, and list an alternate third choice that will only be used as a tie-breaker if needed. The three surviving songs from this round will be brought back later in the game to compete with the other rounds' survivors. 1. "Long Tall Sally" (Johnson/Penniman/Blackwell); Lead vocal: McCartney (From Past Masters Vol. 1) 2. "A Hard Day's Night" (Lennon/McCartney); Lead vocal: Lennon, with McCartney(From A Hard Day's Night) 3. "Slow Down" (Williams); Lead vocal: Lennon (From Past Masters Vol. 1) 4. "Things We Said Today" (Lennon/McCartney); Lead vocal: McCartney (From A Hard Day's Night) 5. "Any Time At All" (Lennon/McCartney); Lead vocal: Lennon, with McCartney and Harrison (From A Hard Day's Night) (When I end a round and start the next, I'll need to take the songs from the previous round down so that the next round's songs will fit on the website. Therefore the links in each round will still show up, but they won't work once that round has ended.)You can join in the game anytime. You don't need to have been voting from the beginning to play.
