That ends Round 76. We had a tie this round (HEX, ya should have voted!) Here's how the points panned out because of the tie: "Drive My Car" - 17; "In My Life" - 17; "Nowhere Man" - 12; "Day Tripper" - 4; "Nowhere Man" - 4. So, we lose "Drive My Car" and "In My Life".
One of the Nowhere Mans must be "Norwegian Wood." As long as it made it another round, that's all I care about. 1 Got To Get You Into My Life 2 And Your Bird Can Sing 3 Rain I hope we don't lose "Think For Yourself." It's too cool of a song to vote off yet.

That ends Round 77. This time we lose "And Your Bird Can Sing" and "Got To Get You Into My Life". BEATLES SONG SURVIVOR - ROUND SEVENTY-EIGHTAs before, vote off two of the following songs, and list an alternate third choice that will only be used as a tie-breaker if needed. The three surviving songs from this round will be brought back later in the game to compete with the other rounds' survivors. 1. "I'm Only Sleeping" (Lennon/McCartney); Lead vocal: Lennon (From Revolver) 2. "Eleanor Rigby" (Lennon/McCartney); Lead vocal: McCartney, with Lennon (From Revolver) 3. "Strawberry Fields Forever" (Lennon/McCartney); Lead vocal: Lennon (From Magical Mystery Tour) 4. "Penny Lane" (Lennon/McCartney); Lead vocal: McCartney, with Lennon (From Magical Mystery Tour) 5. "A Day In The Life" (Lennon/McCartney); Lead vocal: Lennon, with McCartney (From Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band) (When I end a round and start the next, I'll need to take the songs from the previous round down so that the next round's songs will fit on the website. Therefore the links in each round will still show up, but they won't work once that round has ended.)You can join in the game anytime. You don't need to have been voting from the beginning to play. (Sorry this round is also getting started a little late.)

You're not kidding! Man, having to choose between those five was tough. Sorry to all the "Penny Lane" fans, but ... against those other four, it had to be my first choice. I picked up Life magazine "Remembering John Lennon, 25 years later" today. Haven't had a chance to do more than just glance at some of it, but the pictures are fantastic. If a picture can say a thousand words, this beautiful picture has to cast doubt on a few thousand that I read in Goldman's book The Lives of John Lennon: It's on newsstands now... well worth the money, and I haven't even read it yet.
