That ends Round 86. This time we lose "This Boy" and "You Can't Do That". BEATLES SONG SURVIVOR - ROUND EIGHTY-SEVENAs before, vote off two of the following songs, and list an alternate third choice that will only be used as a tie-breaker if needed. The three surviving songs from this round will be brought back later in the game to compete with the other rounds' survivors. 1. "A Hard Day's Night" (Lennon/McCartney); Lead vocal: Lennon, with McCartney(From A Hard Day's Night) 2. "Things We Said Today" (Lennon/McCartney); Lead vocal: McCartney (From A Hard Day's Night) 3. "I Feel Fine" (Lennon/McCartney); Lead vocal: Lennon, with McCartney and Harrison (From Past Masters Vol. 1) 4. "I'll Follow The Sun" (Lennon/McCartney); Lead vocal: McCartney, with Lennon (From Beatles For Sale) 5. "Ticket To Ride" (Lennon/McCartney); Lead vocal: Lennon, with McCartney (From Help!) (When I end a round and start the next, I'll need to take the songs from the previous round down so that the next round's songs will fit on the website. Therefore the links in each round will still show up, but they won't work once that round has ended.)You can join in the game anytime. You don't need to have been voting from the beginning to play.

"Time you enjoy wasting wasn't wasted" - John Lennon Here's four more Lennon songs. The first three are from John's fifth solo album, Walls And Bridges, released September/October, 1974. Meanwhile, John began work on an album of cover songs ( Rock 'N' Roll) and in January, 1975, John and Yoko would reunite after an eighteen month separation. Yoko soon became pregnant and with the birth of their son, Sean, John decided to concentrate on his family and wouldn't enter a recording studio for five years. "#9 Dream" (Lennon) "Whatever Gets You Through The Night" (Lennon) "Scared" (Lennon) "Real Love" (Lennon) (From the Imagine Soundtrack, recorded at Lennon's home in 1979)

That ends Round 87. We had a tie again this round, so I used the point system. Here's how the votes came in: "I'll Follow The Sun" - 20; "I Feel Fine" - 13; "Things We Said Today" - 9; "A Hard Day's Night" - 7; "Ticket To Ride" - 5. So, we lose "I'll Follow The Sun" and "I Feel Fine". BEATLES SONG SURVIVOR - ROUND EIGHTY-EIGHTAs before, vote off two of the following songs, and list an alternate third choice that will only be used as a tie-breaker if needed. The three surviving songs from this round will be brought back later in the game to compete with the other rounds' survivors. 1. "You've Got To Hide Your Love Away" (Lennon/McCartney); Lead vocal: Lennon (From Help!) 2. "Help!" (Lennon/McCartney); (Lennon/McCartney); Lead vocal: Lennon, with McCartney and Harrison (From Help!) 3. "Yesterday" (Lennon/McCartney); Lead vocal: McCartney (From Help!) 4. "Day Tripper" (Lennon/McCartney); Lead vocal: Lennon and McCartney (From Past Masters Vol. 2) 5. "Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)" (Lennon/McCartney); Lead vocal: Lennon, with McCartney (From Rubber Soul) (When I end a round and start the next, I'll need to take the songs from the previous round down so that the next round's songs will fit on the website. Therefore the links in each round will still show up, but they won't work once that round has ended.)You can join in the game anytime. You don't need to have been voting from the beginning to play.
