Jonathan Tropper "The Book of Joe" :
I read the last page only a few minutes ago ... completly moved and totally under the spell of that book ...

South Of The Pumphouse by Les Claypool.  Not for everybody, but I like it.

My wife's reading the last Harry Potter book as I sit and type this!  Got it from Waterstones in the post this morning and started reading it straight away!  I guess she wants to read it before someone in the media gives away the ending!

I'll read it after but I already know that at the end of the book Harry has a sex change operation, Harriet marries Voldermort and they have a huge wedding at Hogwarts so no surprises there!

I'm reading The Cell by Stephen King, its good if end-of-the-world type stories are your thing!

Me....... Yes satu,   I collected it at one minute past midnight on July 21st and finished it 15 hours later.

I even dressed up as Prof. McGonagall to go and get it.   I was NOT the only adult in costume.  We had a party in the book shop and quizzes and Harry Potter music while we waited for the witching hour. :D :D

I have to say it was fun.   This was my weekend off so it all fitted perfectly.

I can't tell you here as I will spoil it for those who have not read it yet but I have PM'd you with the answer.  :)

Holy crap! :o ;D I had wondered how long it would take some people to read the book.

I'm currently signed up for a class where we'll be reading the first Harry Potter book, and since I've never read it, I might be reading it just so I don't have to later. ;) Other books I might try to take care of early for the class are the first Lord of the Rings and the first Chronicles of Narnia. I think I've burnt myself out a little on novel reading, so hopefully required reading will get me back into the groove.

You will understand Philo, if I say "No he is under mine."  ;) ;) ;)

Actually I do really like the books and the movies so far.   I guess he is a little bit of a hero. ;)

You've been fast, Lin.  :o I haven't finished yet. Starting with the chapter 33. Sooo exciting!  :D :D I went to get mine at 10 am before going to work, I'm not that big of a fan to get up in the middle of the night for a book.  ::) I can't wait to talk about the book. Have to be careful, not to spoil anything. Maybe PM's? Or a new thread with spoiler warning?!  ;)

I would definitely join you guys in that thread but at the moment I'm only on about page four hundred.

Feel free to start a "Harry Potter" thread here ... just put: "Warning: Spoilers Allowed" in the title and it'll be cool. 8)

I picked up Stephen King's latest book, "Blaze" which he wrote (at least a basic version of it anyway) back in the early 70s.
