This is a labor of love for my friend, bdc28, who started what was to eventually be the LONGEST thread of all time.  Well, it got to 17 pages before it had to end.

Or DID it have to end???

With a little cooperation from everyone, I will reconstruct the original ENDLESS, POINTLESS thread post by post.  It will probably take a few days, so I ask that no one posts in this thread UNTIL it's up to date.  I will probably lock it each night until I can return to it the next day.  But, we NEED this thread... we can't just start completely from scratch.  It MUST continue.  THE ENDLESS, POINTLESS THREAD MUST GO ON!!!!!!!!

Stay tuned... and sometime in the next few days, you will once again be able to add your nothing thoughts to this thread. :)

Okay, seeing how the McVeigh string got SOOO off topic (with Daisy's flummary...GOD I love that word), I thought I would create a new string.

I want to NOT dedicate this string to anything in particular except the rantings and ravings of us page hitters. I only ask for a few things..

ONE: That Daisy keep the sexual innuendo going as much as possible.

TWO: That Matt stay off his meds a few days before his posts. I like when he gets delusional.

THREE: That AKA lets me know A) what he was previously known as and B) why he is currently known as 23.

FOUR: That KC keep using HUMONGOUS words that send me to the dictionary. Well, also that she marry me, but thats probably going to be up for discussion.

Let this be the longest thread. Whatever you want to talk about, keep it going.

Duvets
Yes, I said Duvets. Just imagine all films - ALL films were about duvets.

Firm and plump and warm. Here's the ones that starred Clint:

The Good, The Bad and The Duvet

Duvet's Heroes

Where Duvets Dare

High Plains Duvet

White Hunter, Black Duvet

Dirty Duvet

Sudden Duvet

and of course: Play Duvet for Me

all the best

Duvet

in order to make this the longest thread i think i'd have to type one word per post...
but i dont have that kind of time, nor patience. i have more important things to do like watch eastwood movies...right? although that may be heading toward an "on" topic discussion. so instead, i'll watch bill and ted's excellent adventure in hopes of decreasing my IQ even more.

"i am so smart! S-M-R-T! I mean S-M-A-R-T!"

this is the thread that never ends. it just goes on and on my friends...blah blah blah something something uh...yeah!

so sad...so very sad.

i hope this made no sense.

Whoa, a marriage proposal. Thats a new one for this board. You know, rumor has it that all of KCs potential suitors have to take both grammar and literature exams.
Ok, I'll keep the thread going with some of my mindless and random ramblings:
I got a blind date (just talked on the phone) this Friday. I'll get right to the point for everyone: she really likes Eastwood.
I watched "Time Bandits" the other day for millionth time.
I went boating last weekend and my boat broke down on me. I floated to a boat ramp owned by the redneckest redneck I've ever met. Nice guy though.
The Journey concert Tuesday night in Raleigh rocked. The new guy sounds as good as Perry.

yeah i dont know enough about eastwood for bdc to want to marry me.
but to continue the randomness...

more advice for hikers:
leaves of three -- rub it all over yourself.

if attacked by a bear, give it a hug. it probably just wants a little love.

if a naked man runs at you screaming about the downfall of society, punch him in the nuts.

WAY TO GO! But realize by this admission, you are next in line for the constant badgering for details from the sexually deprived of this board. I'll be first in line (and happy to pass the hat hahaha).

Good luck!

From what I understand about her through a work friend and from what I could tell from a long conversation on the phone, I can safely assume that there won't be any good and gory details to share - not anytime in the near future. Sorry man

With her I'm more interested in the potential long-term anyway, so its cool.

Right now I'm going through one of those "oh-sh!t-I'm-going-to-die-alone" phases, maybe if that wears off I will. I really don't even know her yet though.
She'll probably dump me the second she sees me klunking around town in my '81 AMC Eagle. It sounds like a volcano erupting when it starts up, shakes violently above 65 MPH, and there is no air conditioning.

Conan, you're still young. I've got nine years on you and I'm still single. It does start to get a little.... discomforting. But, then again, nearly all of my friends who married young have already divorced and are on, or heading toward, a second marriage. So maybe we're not doing so badly after all.
Now, I don't want the 'gory' or even the 'non-gory' details of this date. Just let us know if it works out. She's already got one good thing in her corner... she's an Eastwood fan. And if you had a great phone conversation with her, that says more than just about anything.

Good luck!
