There's another thread in this forum but that particular thread is from a websites point of view, thus has nothing to do with our opinions so lets here them. Mine are:
1. Dances with Wolves 2. Wyatt Earp 3. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly 4. For a Few Dollars More 5. A Fistful of Dollars 6. Once Upon a Time in the West 7. The Outlaw Josey Wales 8. Unforgiven 9. Hombre 10. The Wild Bunch
Theres so many of course, especially from the sixties on. Movies like Nevada Smith, How the West Was Won, Open Range, the rest of Eastwood's that I didn't mention, Little Big Man, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, some of John Waynes movies, others before the sixties, movies like High Noon, Shane, anything really with Gary Cooper, James Stewart and John Wayne, the western genre is our oldest and most cherished genre.
