Hey Andrew!

There's a lot of us still here every day, and thousands of threads on the board. I was gone for a little while, and trying to catch up, and there's a lot of reading to catch up on!  Some of our threds here go back to 2002, and some moved over discussions from older incarnations of this board go back even before that. No one minds a discussion being reopened from the past -- some boards frown on it, not us. So if you read through any threads and want to comment, please comment away. It may prompt us to join back in too.

It's sort of an old community here, like KC said, and you'll find it's not just about discussions, we become like friends and family, hanging out and discussing whatever we love, whether it's a Clint movie, or even others in the Off Topic forum.

It's not a slow board, but it CAN use a sprinkle of new blood and enthusiasm, so good to see you here, and join in!

Good ol' introduction thread...  Charlie here.  Eastwood fan after watching Outlaw Josey Wales in High School and never looked back.  I think one of you guys tapped my movie poster forum I co-own, looking for SouthernCat (aka Matt) whom is also an owner with me and one other Aussie.  I'm from Texas.  I ran through my Eastwood phase (buying everything I could) a while back and I imagine between Matt, Myself, and Davytriumph we could host our own Eastwood memorabilia convention...  I do pick up new stuff now and then and of course watch the films.  Just thought I would pop on, check you guys out and look for places to contribute.

  Welcome to the board Charlie!

I've just got a few prized Clint collectibles myself, my favorite being a "Any Which Way You Can" watch given to me by a member on here for a winning a small contest.

Charlie, that was me (the sleuth that found him) and my hired gun tapped you.

Try to get some more Eastwood fans over here for the Eastwood Challenge. We're watching ALL his movies, and we just started the first week (of 33 weeks of Eastwood Movie glory).

Try to get Matt (Southern Cat) over here too. Things got a little slow here, but then I showed up (again) to bring hell back to the board (feeling like Stranger a bit).

I wish I had known about your forum. I just practically gave away about $10k worth of Eastwood for $1,800.   :(

Welcome to the Board.

Welcome to the Board.

I will promote the challenge on our forum and maybe we can do a co-forum movie night or something if you guys are up to it.  Last year we did a movie night with Unforgiven.

Absolutely! We're in a "rebuild" state here. This forum community is 18 years old, and has seen a drought the past few years. It's definitely on a surge again, and we are hoping to get more members and more activity. It would be awesome to do a co-forum movie night.

Great!  Let's do it... Let me poll my guys on which movie they want.  Like I said we did Unforgiven last year.

Bring them over here for the live thread. We're rebuilding... and need some additional life.

Well, you know it is always hard to tell.  We have our core ~20 members... But I would say 40 or so pop in from month to month.

I'd say we're similar in size here. Huge amount of registered users, not so many active members that come by every day. But, it's getting better.  O0

G'day Charlie and welcome to the board. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Try and convince SouthernCat to pop in and say hi. He's been missed here. Especially in the Aussie thread.

I'm actually introducing myself at the beginning of this thread where I say I'm 25 years old. That was 12 years ago!  Feeling old ... :o

Hello, I don't know if this is the right place to introduce myself.
I've discovered your forum this afternoon when I made a resarch on google.
I'm French and I've been an Eastwood fan since 1977 ! I can remember very well because I couldn't see The Enforcer; the movie was forbidden for people under 18 in France.
I've watched all movies since then. I recorded them on cassettes when they were broadcast in the 80s, I bought the DVD in the 2000s and I gave up the French version and nowadays, I have most of the movies on DVDs or on Blu-rays when the quality is better.
I've begun to write reviews of each Eastwood's movies since last April for our French website (dedicated to series and film stars). So far; I have reviewed 20 movies (up to The Outlaw Josey Wales) and the 40 others will follow.
http://theavengers.fr/index.php/hors-serie/cinema/clint-eastwood

It's in French of course but with some google translations devices, it will be possible to understand the big points. I hope you can understand my English and I will participate in this interesting and incredible forum dedicated to the most fabulous actor. Eastwood means movie for me and thanks to his movies, anyone in the world can understand and lean American culture and way of living !
