Hello everyone.  I worked in the film industry for 25 years building sets.  I've worked on a few Eastwood films including "Space Cowboys", "Midnight In The Garden Of Good And Evil" and a few others.  No westerns though.  I live in Carmel Ca. now and see Mr. Eastwood from time to time.  Two years ago, he was the Grand Marshall for the Carmel Centennial Parade.  He was on a Wells Fargo stage wearing his Poncho from the Dollar trilogy,  his Andy Anderson walk and draw holster, hat from "Unforgiven" and his shirt from "High Plains Drifter."  He looked great for his age.

Here's a sketch I did about 40 years ago.

I also like to do leather work and make hats.  Here's my take on Joe Kidd's hat with a copy of an Andy Anderson walk and draw rig I made.

That is great stuff! 8)

Thanks, and welcome to the Board! :)

Hi ppl,

Me and some friends are trying working on a project to make it easier for us to find a movie to watch.
It's an app that simultaneously allows you to get great movie recommendations from movie lovers and to be that movie lover helping out people looking for the next great movie to watch. While we have the basics down, we’re curious to see what other people think before we set things in stone. In short, we’d love to build just the app that you guys would use for this scenario :)

I would really appreciate if you would allow me to post in relevant forum group simple survey in order to collect more insights. Here is the link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ZCHZPYM

There is no bad intention behind this survey, just real wish to solve outstanding issue that I've been facing for so long time :)

Let us know what you think! :)

Hi Everyone, I've always been a fan of Clint Eastwood since 70'. The first film I saw at the cinema was Escape from Alcatraz and since then I have been passionate about Clint. If we then think of the dramatic masterpieces of the past 20 years ... Now I have discovered this magnificent forum and I hope to learn new things and maybe to contribute, also. Now I've started a personal tribute to Eastwood in my website. 90 films in 90 days for his 90 years....

Welcome Speer! I think it says something about City Heat that this board has been around for more than 20 years, and this is the first member to use Clint's character's name from the film. Though, I do see we had a Lt. Speer sign up 14 years ago (and never posted). Glad to have you with us, Speer!

Hi all,

thought I'd officially introduce myself, after already replying to a thread. I'm fairly new, not just to the boards that I only came across a few days ago by chance. I think it was an image on pinterest that was linked here. I've only been a fan since 2019, but already watched almost all movies with Clint, including Lafayette Escadrille and The First Traveling Saleslady. I also own most of the movies, although I got several for dad, but he gave me all of his Clint Eastwood movies, which is really neat.  :) I'm not certain what else to say, other than that I'm from Germany and 30 years old. If there's anything else you'd like to know, go ahead and ask. I won't bite.  ;)

Hi everyone I have been a fan of Clint for years, I have loved lots of his films especially the western series of films and then the Dirty Harry series, and then too many to mention. I am Chris a 72 year old retired pensioner from the Uk, I live in the northwest where it tends to rain a lot. I still manage to keep fit with exercises and a lot of walking/cycling.

Welcome to the board, LilChris. I've got family in the UK and appreciate how much history and culture you have over there. You do have a lot of rain though! :)

Howdy. SF Bay Area native, and lifelong Clint fan. I'm one of those who have walked in a lot of Clint's footsteps, movie set wise, from San Francisco, to Carmel & Monterey, to the Sierra's, to Monument Valley, etc. I've lived most of my life in the SF Bay Area, from San Francisco, to San Jose, to Santa Cruz, it was always cool to see set locations that i've visited countless times, almost like 3rd party home movies.

I'll chime in occasionally, maybe i can help answer location questions, or have some answered...and anything else Clint(if i can).
