Hi All,

I am humbled by the (very) quick welcome from current members - thank you all individually and collectively!

What a great actor/director/producer...et al. There will probably only ever be one Mr. Clint Eastwood in my lifetime. A genius of the film genre!

I have had the pleasure of "shouting" an Anchor Steam beer or two for Mr. Jack Warden at R.J's in North Beverly Drive on one occasion and on another occasion had dinner with Mr. Robert Ellenstein who played the President of the Federation in Star Trek 1V - The Voyage Home. Not bad for an Aussie on business in LA!

Just wish that I had visited the Hog's Breath in Carmel...Oh well, another time.

Sincerely, thank you all again and I hope that I can have  a positive contribution to this forum!

Cheers All.

Hello Everybody.
I'm a new member to the Forum, but a long time huge fan.  I am from the Denver Colorado area, but I haven't yet run into Tank Murdock.   :D
When I set up this profile, I figured my email address is already named after Philo, so I tried to choose something new and original.
What an inspiration Clint has been in my life.  When I attempt to think back about my decision to be a Marine, I can only figure it had to be because of Gunny Highway.
Anyway, don't wanna make this too long, so does anyone know whether there is a plan to have Flags & Letters in a DVD set together?  I was kinda waiting for a special set to come out, but I'm also anxious to see Flags again asap.
Thanks.   ;)

Welcome to the Board, Tony!  8)

Apparently, there will be a two-disc special edition of Flags out in May, as reported in this thread ...

http://www.clinteastwood.org/forums/index.php?topic=6284.0

... but I haven't yet heard about plans to release the two films as a set.

I'm the new guy in town ( or should I say Chief)...hehe   8)   I'm a big Eastwood fan and have been since the Rawhide years. Looks like a real nice site with plenty to read. Looking forward to it.

Keep your head down and your powder dry!  ;)

Greetings from Scotland, everyone! (thus the 'Highland'...)  - well I thought it was good!

I stumbled upon this site, when looking for a download of the theme tune to 'For A Few Dollars More', and am very impressed.

I've always been a Clint fan for as far back as I can remember - my Dad always tuned in  when one of his films (especially Westerns) were on T.V.

I also remember kind of identifying with him because we shared the same birthday (May 31st) - as if you didn't know..

The Wild West just seemed very exotic when you are sitting in a house in Glasgow, and there was a great wit with the early westerns that kind of appealed.

I'm looking forwars to expanding my knowledge of the great man.

Cheers for now

H.P.D.
