KC.. I seem to remember Harry being a little impatient with the "heart attack" victim he came across in the resturant.... ;D

No More Lies Girl.

Hi Matt ! remember yesterday when  i asked you about the song ? well, who's singing ?

And yeah I got a question ... it's about this scene where Harry is on his way to the roof where he thinks the shooter was. He's walking in the street, and at one point we see a man walking just next to him ... this man, isn't it Don Siegel ? I may be wrong, but he looks a lot like him ... but I think one of us  -maybe it was you, I can't remember  ;D- noticed it during the movie ... and also asked about it ... but I don't think anybody ever answered !
So am I right or is it just my imagination ?  ;)

Matt,  I agree with you if we stop the movie 20 times we Brits will be falling asleep at our screens.  I loved the way we did it on Sunday and I feel it is a format that works.  Look forward to the next time.   Lin  :D

We confirmed this some time ago in this thread.

As well as going to the kitchen for more beer, etc.?

KC, I can't help but think you put this line in there to really convince me this is a good idea! I was actually thinking when we were getting started yesterday that I could fill up a cooler with beer to keep with me here at the computer through the movie so I wouldn't have to get up. ;D

About the intermissions... maybe one or two short, five minute intermissions would be okay and wouldn't break up the flow of the film too much, or make the viewing time much lengthier (I'd prefer only one, halfway through). Also, let's keep in mind that most of Clint's movies run longer than Dirty Harry, so we're already looking at a longer session next time anyway without any breaks.

Hi Matt ! remember yesterday when  i asked you about the song ? well, who's singing ?

This was one of the longest running mysteries in the history of this board. It had been asked probably a dozen times, but it was only in the last few months that the song was finally released on the Dirty Harry, The Original Score by Lalo Schifrin CD along with liner notes that identified the singer.  Here are those liner notes:

Quote
#4 NO MORE LIES, GIRL
Technically, this music precedes the previous cue as it is heard emanating from the heist guys' vehicle before Callahan enters the diner, but, magically it is still playing when Harry emerges, spitting bread crumbs and blasting away. The song continues as Harry walks across the street to torment the wounded bandit. Interestingly, the lyric to this Schifrin melody was penned by Lalo's wife, Donna, and is performed by veteran vocalist, Bernard Ito.

You are very welcome.

It seems his role in Escape from Alcatraz may have gone to the cutting room floor.
