AB, could you possibly rent one of those two? If not, can you suggest some other film?

And does anyone have an idea for a date? Feb. 17-18 or 24-25?

Feb 24th/25th is best for me. 17th is OK too.  I could come in a little on the 18th.

I 'd like to see Million Dollar BabySpace Cowboys or even White Hunter Black Heart.

Don't worry about me, KC. No big deal if I miss this movie night  ;)

The films I brought with me (no surprise  :D): Tightrope, Dirty Harry, BOMC, The Gauntlet and Magnum Force.

We've had rather low participation the last few times we did this, so it would be nice to get as many people involved as possible.

Who would be for Tightrope? :)

We'll start a poll soon, just want to get a feel for what films should be in it!

OK, sounds like we have a winner ... Shall I post a poll, or should we just go with Tightrope?

And is the weekend of Feb. 24-25 OK for everyone? Would anyone prefer Feb. 17-18? Maybe I should post a poll on that!

Either one is fine with me ... will it be on a Saturday or a Sunday? Maybe we should do a poll. What time did we use to do this? In the morning or in the afternoon? I can't remember.

Looks like Tightrope would be the winner if a poll was taken, and Feb. 18 or 24 is still fine for me.I can't make it on the 17th or 25th though.

It looks like next Saturday is out for me now too, so if the Kid can't make the 25th, that leaves Sunday, the 18th, or Saturday, the 24th.

We've usually done them at 5:00 PM Eastern time. That would be 2:00 PM on the West Coast and 11 PM in Europe ... Kid, I think it's sometime the next day for you? ???

I'm 16 hours into the future so it would be 9am here.  :)

I had another thought.

Tightrope would be a good choice as it's still our current film discussion film and after watching it we might want to add to those threads.

And when the next film discussion starts maybe we could have that film as a movie night.

Brilliant idea Kid.    Tightrope on Sat 24th would be great for me.   If we go for Sunday 18th I will come in a bit late as I am working in the evening but that is OK.

Yeah the 24th would be the best date of the two weekends for me and it gives everyone two weeks notice.

The 25th is Oscar night too I think and that would be the 26th here and that is the day I'm planning on seeing Letters from Iwo Jima.
