Maybe we could watch some movie that most of us have already. Someone already suggested that, I think.
That way there would be at least one more to participate - me.

Hi Canadian Lady
I've merged your thread into this "General" Movie Night thread, which we use for planning upcoming Movie Nights. Individual threads in this forum are either for voting for movies, or actual Movie Night threads.
I think you'll probably need to give more notice to have another Movie Night. We usually start planning them a few weeks in advance to make sure members know about it (a lot of our members only check the board once a day, or a few times a week), and so they have time to track down the movie if they don't have it already.

Just wondering if there is going to be another movie night anytime soon? This is a great time and I kind of miss doing it...

I hope we do a few more this year than last year.Interest did seem to wane there the last couple of times with not many members able to make it.

I will be able to make a few this year. Better working hours than before. I miss them as well and there are new members now who might like to join us.
it is a fun night and great to talk to each other about what is happening on the screen.

Well, maybe it's time to start talking about what movie we'd like to do? Any suggestions?
They don't have to be on Sundays, as far as I am concerned ... I have most Saturdays free now, and weeknights are possible also (though I think it would be too late for our European members).

I'm happy to watch any Eastwood film and Saturday or Sunday's are fine for me.Which is Sunday or Monday morning here.Hopefully it's not on a golf day though.

I'm up for it, if I'm free. Friday and Saturday nights are best for me, but I'll try to make any time. The few I took part in were fun.

Weekends are fine for me, saturday or sunday. I often have mondays free, so the late hour on sunday doesn't really matter.

My suggestions are 1. Million Dollar Baby or
2. Space Cowboys (the doctors scene should be worth a good laugh)
(The only two I can think of that I have on DVD right now.)

MDB and Space Cowboys both are fine for me. I can find them both and rent them. I just saw Space cowboys on TV, but I could watch it again, it's fine.
And at home I have many dvds (most are westerns) that would be fine also.

I won't be able to join this movie night if we watch either one of these two films ... I didn't bring them with me
