Are we all having fun? Philo, I'm very grateful for your comments about omitted scenes, locales, etc. Is this the script you and I once ALMOST bought cooperatively?

Yeah, I think we've found someone who would be great for commentaries on Eastwood DVD's. :)

Philo thanks for the info on the extra scenes.   Pity they didn't leave some of them in they sound good.

Did he enjoy Dirty Harry?
He was about two when he watched it with me. He fell asleep at some point in the film. I do not think I would let him watch it at four though. He understands much more now.

I think I saw it on TV when I was 5 or 6.  The bad scenes were omitted though of course.

Hi KC,

Yes it is part of that package.
Just for everyone else (sorry KC) it consisted of the complete history of the film in a script form.

The earliest draft is what I have mostly been quoting from that is called The coming of Philo Beddoe and is when Warner's had the film dated Febuary 28th 1978.
There was also a final draft closer to the movie we are seeing tonight dated March 17th 1978
Some pink pages that were last minute additions.
The best of all was Ferris Webster's double thickness editing script with all his notations.

It is a great collection for me as a real fan of the film.

I'm sorry more people aren't here. I thought there were some others who were going to try to make it, at least.

Oh well, with Philo's comments, it will make interesting reading later on!
