Well I finally completed my home cinema room (well almost).

I thought I'd share some pictures as much of my Eastwood collection is on display. I have a costume still with my framers and when thats finished I'll post that too.

My collection is very much focused on genuine production used items worn or used by the great man himself. Below you will see images of his live firing Colt Walker from OJW and the rubber stunt shotgun from Unforgiven. I also have the original painting that went to make the one sheet for HPD.

As mentioned on another thread I’m lucky enough to work for www.propstore.com (sorry shameless plug) and get to see and handle many great and historic items. The Eastwood pieces usually find their way into my collection.

Whoa. Very nice, palooka  8)

My dream. A home cinema room with a big screen and still plenty of room to display my Eastwood memorabilia.

Thanks guys - if there is beer being brought all are welcome!!

I was hoping this thread might inspire others to post pictures of their collections too? I'm not sure we have enough web space for Philo's collection though!

Palooka,

May I add my congrats on your viewing room. We have spoken in the past about some of the one of a kind items that you have.
I was pleased that when some of those Malpaso items were sold off that you were able to get the ones you wanted.

Regards

Hi again Palooka,

I just noticed the Lord of the rings clapperboard that you have had framed.
I have a couple of Eastwood ones and would like to ask how they framed them?

Thanks for any info.

Sure thing Philo.

I'd be happy to get them done for you. As you can see you can get the movie logo cut into a display too if you wanted but I personally didn't think that was needed for a clapperboard.  Drop me a PM if you would like me to handle it for you or get a quote. Alternatively feel free to go to www.creativelasersolutions.com and ask for Andy. He'll look after you.

Hi AB,
I have the ones from Firefox and Sudden impact, I got them from Bruce Surtee's assistant who sold one on Ebay and kindly sold the second to me off Ebay. He was very fair and I got them for $75.00 each. He also included a photo he had taken of Clint directing Firefox.

That's nice  O0

Where do they keep these things once the filming is done? Do you think they give them away to the people working on the set, or are they stored somewhere?

I am not sure about now but in these days I am sure they were held on to by people working on the film. I was lucky in that the two I have are on the crossover to how the boards were made, Firefox is the blackboard slate type and Sudden  impact is the now used off white plastic.
