Eastwood Presents Award To Angelina Jolie

The 2008 Santa Barbara Film Festival gave its "Outstanding Performance of the Year" award to Angeline Jolie this past weekend, and Clint Eastwood was on hand to present it. A few pics of Clint with Jolie and Jolie & Pitt can be viewed here:

And Jolie had this to say about Clint:

"Clint Eastwood? Awwww! Don't get me started," Jolie said. "I could talk forever about him. I could turn the whole evening into a Clint Eastwood evening. ... I think he's just a genuinely great guy. He's nice to everybody on set."

There are a couple of really nice pictures of Clint on the site MC posted.    She did say some nice things about Clint, however shes not my favourite actress by any means.   Sorry that is just my opinion.

Well, imdb lists Brad Pitt as being 6', 0.5" so I guess they'd be pretty close then, if Clint's 6',1" or so now.

I am looking forward to seeing it for that aspect. I have seen her act well in one film which was Gia.

She's had severl critically acclaimed/award winning performances: Girl, Interrupted, Gia, George Wallace, Playing By Heart, The Good Shepherd, and A Mighty Heart. She's also starring in two upcoming films where she plays strong female leads: Atlas Shrugged and The Mercenary. AJ herself has said the only reason she does films is to fund her humanitarian efforts and for her family. She only choose films for the biggest paycheck, not for the great roles. So its rare for her to get a good part. This is also why she always does blockbuster type of films not Oscar baity films.
