That's good news. I hope they remaster the video as this is a beautifully lit film ( gloomy interiors are very natural )

It is also about time that 'The Outlaw Josey Wales' was given the transfer it deserves. Now that could persuade me to adopt Blue-ray  O0

The lighting is definitely one of the best things about this film. I absolutely love it. The lighting in most of Clint's films is great.

I shall definitely pick both of these up....nice to see they've used the original poster art too.

This is the dedicated thread for all Clint Eastwood films on or coming to Blu-Ray. I've merged three threads posted in the last couple of months into this one, so now whenever you come across news of an upcoming release on Blu-Ray or a current review, this is the place for it.

I haven't seen this movie since it's original release, maybe it's time I did.

The Gaunlet is worth it alone for the cover artwork!   Nice job Warners!  Best Buy has this and EWWBL on sale for $14.99 this week.  Got some Blu ray watching to do this weekend, I did get to watch Pale Rider on blu last week.

Read this on another forum:
Was listening to BBC radio 5 live the other day and they had Sir Christopher Frayling as a guest (He did fantastic audio commentaries for both Fistful of Dollars & For a Few Dollars More on dvd) he was asked why there was no audio commentary on the third installment The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, he basically said it was recorded but its being saved for the Blu-ray release!
