Are you sure about that date for Australia rtc?

It seems like a quick release if it only opens in the cinemas on Feb. 5. down here.

The link to the Amazon page came from bluray.com.

http://www.blu-ray.com/search/?action=search&section=movies&keyword=changeling&searchbutton.x=23&searchbutton.y=8

If it's released in the UK as a locked Region B on March 30th it will play on our Ozzie players. However, it comes out on Region A (India, Asia, Japan, USA) on Feb 17th and is released by Universal Studios. There is a 92% to 96% chance that it won't be region locked so it may be available here in Oz even sooner.

Changeling is a great BD from Universal Studios it's a real shame Warners don't put in the same effort for Clint's films. Good 'making of' documentary and the movie has the 'film window' feature so you can see Clint directing the scene that is playing on the big screen. Immaculate transfer in terms of picture quality.

In announcement news today, Warner has just set Clint Eastwood's Gran Torino for release on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on 6/9 (SRP $28.98 and $35.99). The DVD will include at least 2 featurettes (Manning the Wheel and Gran Torino: More Than a Car). The Blu-ray will add The Eastwood Way featurette, BD-Live and a Digital Copy disc. Additional features may also be announced.

The Digital Bits:

We received word today from WHV (Warner Home Video) that they have secured the rights to put together a COMPLETE Eastwood filmography on DVD and Blu-Ray. Obviously this was hard to pull off since Eastwood has made movies for other studios. Not sure how it'll all work out in terms of profit sharing but look for it to street around October/November. They didn't give us an exact price but they said it could be around $299.99 for the DVD version and $699.99 for the Blu-Ray (yikes!).

Wow.

Wow.

I wonder what WHV means by a complete Eastwood filmography. Does it only include films in which he stars or does it also include films that he directed, such as Changeling, in which he does not appear on camera. Although it would be highly unlikely, it would be fun to include Clints first credited film, Francis in the Navy (1955).
