Considering this one is a limited edition of 3000 copies,I suggest anyone who wants to buy it,to hurry 'cause it's current price on eBay is 56$,which is almost double than the 29$ I paid from the above site.

Coogan's Bluff Blu-ray

Quote
German label Koch Media has officially announced and detailed its upcoming Blu-ray release of director Don Siegel's Coogan's Bluff (1968) starring Clint Eastwood, Lee J. Cobb, Don Stroud, Susan Clark, Betty Field, Tisha Sterling, and Melodie Johnson. The release will be available for purchase in Germany on February 20th.

Clint Eastwood stars as Walt Coogan, a soft-spoken, straightforward Arizona lawman who is sent to New York to extradite captured murderer James Ringerman (Stroud). Coogan slips up, Ringerman escapes again, and the hunt is on! Coogan's unorthodox law enforcement techniques don't go over too well with frustrated NYC Police Lieutenant McElroy (Cobb), who can't decide which is worse...the prisoner or the lawman!

Special Features:
Original trailer
Featurette: At Home with Clint Eastwood

Yes, nice release :)
I love this film anyway. The DVD is for the trash can, really awful quality.
What a joy to see the film (i never saw it in a theatre) in HD quality!
Great release.

There is a booklet accompanying this edition.
It says about the gay subject:

'for a great many people,Thunderbolt & Lightfoot is a film laced with gay subject-an idea that,of course, renders many traditional Eastwood fans apoplectic;see,on the website clinteastwood.org,the dozen flaming pages of a thread entitled "The Endless Thunderbolt & Lightfoot Gay/No Way Debate". O0

^ interesting icon usage. Turns out the author himself said he infused such a subtext from what I read, which would likely lay the issue to rest as far as "whether" or not it's there, were it another subject... as to why Clint would do such a role, probably to challenge the very notion he never would and what that view represents, I would imagine. Personally I've got no dog in the fight, but that kind of "guardian of the underdog" aspect is the thing I like most about him. A real life Josey Wales...

I have been thinking about Thunderbolt and Lightfoot for some months as I recently bought Paul Williams album, Life Goes On, which contains the song Where Do We Go From Here (used as the theme song for the movie).

Good to see a decent release of this on bluray, also good to find it is region free (I'm in the UK) if a bit too pricey for me. The film has popped up on Netflix here so I intend to become reacquainted with it soon.

Yes he was. I looked at buying it but decided against it as I have 4 copies of BOMC and there was nothing new on it apart from the artwork.

Heh heh, sorry about that!  I don't know why I thought he was talking about Thunderbolt And Lightfoot.  For some reason, though, the image does not appear.

I'm assuming the image below is what's being referred to and I see antonis' point.  Although, I do like the Blu ray cover.
