Hello everyone! I've been away from the FORUM a lot lately because I've been so busy here in Los Angeles with school and such. I arrived back out here a little over a month ago to attend some more acting classes. I'm here to stay for good now.

Anyway, I have a few teachers and I could not get it out of my head that one of them looked very familiar to me. I've been going to her class for four weeks now and finally decided to look her up on IMDB to see her film/tv credits. And, come to find out, she's the actress Michelle Benes from "The Bridges of Madison County." I'm sure most of you know, but she played the lady who the town hated because she had an affair. I just thought it was so cool and that most of you would find this interesting. She's an extremely sweet lady and a wonderful teacher.

Whoa, that's awesome!!  :o Did you talk to her about you being a Clint Eastwood fan?

Maybe she has interesting things to say about Eastwood and the shooting of the BOMC ... anecdotes, I don't know  :D That's so exciting!!

Oh and good luck with your classes  ;)

I have yet to approach her about Bridges but I will very soon. I just found out it was her last night! I was jumping for joy. haha. I just think it's cool to be taught by somebody who acted in one of my favorite Clint films, and most importantly, had the chance to work in a Clint directed feature.

When I talk to her, I will definitely let you all know what she says.

Thanks for posting this, WeAllGotItComingKid! I hope you'll get a chance to ask Ms. Benes about here experiences working with Clint. In the meanwhile, I think this is Eastwood-related enough to be moved to this Forum. :)

No, problem KC. I figured you'd move it to the Eastwood related thread.  :)

I had a talk with Michelle today. I told her that I had recognized her the first day I had class with her and that I had to look her up. I then told her how shocked I was to find I seen her in BRIDGES countless times. She went into how that was her first role and such. I then asked her how it was working with Clint and she said it was an amazing experience and how he was great to work with. We didn't get to much into it because she was about to teach a class but it was nice to have at least talked to her for a couple minutes about it. I'll see her again, so maybe I can get some more out of her. haha

Please do try, WAGICK! :)

Maybe you could bake her a cake or something. I'm sure she'd appreciate that! ;)

That's really neat, Kid!

I hope you get to ask her more about Bridges, too.  Maybe KC's cake idea will work.  ;) ;D

I've never really had an in depth conversation with her about it. I don't want to crowd her or anything. I talk with her quite frequently though.

Yeah, she did say she had a great time working with Clint and that he was very comfortable to be around.
