Do you have off-set, or magazines photos of Clint with a beard during 1985-1986?

It must be the PALE RIDER period.

I know there are several. Clint made a European tour during that era and he was often photographed with a beard. I'll try to find one I can post here, unless someone else wants to beat me to it.

Don't know where I found this shot from or what year it was taken. I think I posted it in AB's last birthday thread.

It may have been from this thread?

That's the right idea, Kid. That particular shot is by Lord Snowdon, who photographed Clint in 1985, I think on the occasion of his Guardian lecture in London in January of that year. Here's a better look:

If you want to buy a signed (by the photographer) and numbered print on silver gelatin paper for £2,250 ($4,500), you can order it here:

http://www.chrisbeetles.com/pictures/artists/Snowdon/51_uk.htm

I've looked through the image files on my computer and I can't find any other good shots from this era. I have them on paper, but just now I'm without a scanner. Sorry.

Here's another I remember seeing last year in a post by AB in the Tag You're It thread.

Click the link at the bottom for a larger pic.

When I'll show this last one to my mom, I know she's gonna fall down because she loves Clint..in fact, I wanted to collect as many photos of the bearded Clint as I could because I know she loves him with that look and I just wanted to make her happy since she's gonna have birthday next week.

Yes I do it is from the larger picture SK posted I originally copied from the book Clint by Christian Authier ( page 99 )
just for AB to frame.    I have it framed in my den.   He is arriving at Heathrow Airport in the UK in 1985.

I guess I should not have copied it but it was only for personal use and I did not post it on here so of course there was no credit given.     AB has it in her collection of Clint with a beard pictures. Like me she loves him not clean shaven.  Sorry if I did the wrong thing mods.   :-[

I'm sure there's no problem with that, Lin ... after all, SK posted the whole picture!

Since you have a book it was published in, could you check and see if there's a photo credit? It might be buried in the innier margin, or in a separate section of credits.

I thought I had that book, but I can't seem to locate it just now.

At the back of the book in the photographic credits list the photograph on page 99 is credited to Kipa Interpress.

Thanks Lin.  I thought it was probably from around the Pale Rider era.
