Sorry folks, but I am new here and this is my first post so bear with me while I get the feel for this stuff.
I first wanted to wish Mr Eastwood a happy birthday.  79 years is indeed a milestone this day and age.  So many of the really great talents from back in the day have already gone or are close to it but, Clint seems to be showing us that you can't keep a good man down.
I have liked Clint since the sixties when the Spaghetti Western was in vogue.  Yes the Leone films were the start for me.  I was a kid then but, my older brother got me hooked.
My real love has always been Lee Van Cleef and I am an insatiable fan of Lee's.
I have pondered many questions about the era of films that Clint and Lee teamed in.  Even from the times when they worked in television on shows like Rawhide, Maverick and others. I have followed, as much as possible, the body of work of many great character actors.  Clint has been in a very repsectable  league and I have always wanted to let him know how much I, and I'm sure many, many others, love and appreciate him for his work and his contributions not just as an actor but in many endeavors he has persued.
You have to hand it to Clint who has not only been such a great actor but also director, producer, musician, writer, community activist the list is long I'm sure you get the gist.
I congratulate Clint on his success and hope he has many more years to gift us with his talent and hard work.
Cheers to you Mr Eastwood !!!
Have the happiest of birthdays.

Happy birthday to the Legend, still going strong.

When I saw GT, I got the feeling the audience felt as if this may be his last film in a starring role.  It'll be a fitting tribute if so, but at the rate he works, you never know  :D

So have a good one Clint!

Happy Birthday Mr. Eastwood.

Happy Birthday Mr. Clinton Eastwood, Jr.

I honestly thought there would be a big media buzz surrounding Clint's 75th birthday, but nothing.  I'm sure next year will be different.

Clint' is growing a beard, that's interesting...it got me thinking that Clint usually grows his beard for when he does westerns or at least an acting role.  ::) ::) ::)

Seriously though, maybe there's going to be another acting role around the corner? (could it be for the role of Samuel Clemens in Remembering Mark Twain?)

This is another shot from the same night

The Cinema Post

I started to read the article but when I saw Sascha Baron Cohen's name mentioned I didn't bother going any further.

Great link!
Those guys should be ashamed... Clint at 78/79 looks better than any of them.

Love his long fingers.
Wonder what has happened to Mickey Rourke, he used to look better than that...

And what about Mel wearing that viking hat? :D Clint and him should have taken a picture together.
