Larry Colburn, the last of the three brave American soldiers who halted the My Lai massacre, has died at the age of 67.

Very sad news about Carrie Fisher. I just watched the original Star Wars again last week after having seen Rogue One. She was terrific in those.

Sad news indeed. Here is the New York Times obituary:

Carrie Fisher, Child of Hollywood and ‘Star Wars’ Royalty, Dies at 60

And "An appraisal" by Times film critic A.O. Scott:

Carrie Fisher, a Princess, a Rebel and a Brave Comic Voice

And it gets worse ... I just heard on the radio that Debbie Reynolds has died:

http://variety.com/2016/film/news/debbie-reynolds-dead-dies-carrie-fisher-mother-1201949432/

Quote
Debbie Reynolds, the Oscar-nominated singer-actress who was the mother of late actress Carrie Fisher, has died at Cedars-Sinai hospital. She was 84.

“She wanted to be with Carrie,” her son Todd Fisher told Variety.

She was taken to the hospital from Todd Fisher’s Beverly Hills house Wednesday after a suspected stroke, the day after her daughter Carrie Fisher died.

R.I.P., Debbie Reynolds!

I was stunned when I heard Carrie Fisher had passed away but the Debbie Reynolds the very next day just floored me. Two great talents gone but will forever live on onscreen.

So many well known celeb's have been taken way too soon this year.  :'(

They say Debbie's last words were "I want to be with Carrie".   :'(

What a terrible way to end this terrible year. RIP Debbie Reynolds.

And here I thought it was Mariah Carey.

On a serious note, Rest In Peace to all the dearly departed.  God Bless.

Mary Tyler Moore has died at the age of 80. I just saw earlier today that she was critical. I hadn't known before that that she'd been sick. Very sad news. I like both The Dick Van Dyke Show and The Mary Tyler Moore Show.
