I loved Trevor Bannister as Mr Lucas in Are You Being Served Trevor on the right with 'Miss Brahms' and Captain Peacock' (their characters in AYBS) All three are dead now. I don't think there are any of the cast alive now. RIP Trevor. It has been a sad week all round. RIP

I was so deeply saddened to hear of the untimely death of John Sullivan on Easter Saturday. The brilliant creator of comedy classics Citizen Smith, Just Good Friends and, of course, Only Fools And Horses, John Sullivan was Britain’s foremost writer of mainstream comedy. From Citizen Smith in 1977 to last year’s Rock And Chips (the prequel to Only Fools And Horses), he consistently produced engaging and heart-warming entertainment.
Indeed, Mark Freeland, BBC’s Head of Comedy, called John ‘The Dickens of Our Day’.
John Sullivan, the creator of Only Fools and Horses, stands next to Del Boy's famous three-wheel motor. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1380237/John-Sullivan-Only-Fools-creater-dies-Genius-shames-todays-charmless-comics.html?ito=feeds-newsxmlR.I.P.
