Wow, God bless him.  And Dobie Gray.  R.I.P. sirs.

My dad used to watch Dragnet and that's when I first came across Harry Morgan.  He was great in M*A*S*H.

It's funny but when I think of Harry Morgan, it isn't MASH that comes to my mind straight away but two of his films, The Ox Bow Incident and The Glenn Miller Story. He was good in MASH but I always preferred McClean Stevenson as Henry Blake as the camp's C.O.

Morgan was just always so cool in Dragnet! I've also always liked him in Support Your Local Sheriff and Support Your Local Gunfighter.

Barbara Orbison, widow of the rock singer Roy Orbison, who managed his career in the 1980s and worked to keep his legacy alive, died in Los Angeles on Tuesday. She was 60.

The cause was pancreatic cancer, said a family spokeswoman, Sarah McMullen. Ms. Orbison died on the 23rd anniversary of her husband’s death.

RIP Harry. :'(

Believe it or not, Mr. Morgan also co-starred with Elvis.  To hear him talk about the experience, listen here: Elvis Presley Appreciation Thread

Believe it or not, Harry Morgan also once worked on a film with Clint Eastwood. Does anyone know which one?

Touché, KC.  8)  If I were still collecting I'm sure I'd have it as well.  ;)

Come on now, somebody's gotta have the answer!  What movie did Harry Morgan work on with Eastwood?  Any takers?!  :D
