He was one of Australia's most prolific and best-selling authors.

Bryce Courtenay churned out a book almost every year since his first and most popular book, The Power of One, was released in 1989.

He sold more than 20 million books since then, and recently released his last, Jack of Diamonds, but there'll be no more.

Bruce Courtenay has died at the age of 79.

Really sad news today. Dave Brubeck has died.

His music has always been on my playlists.

That is really sad Lin... Brubeck was a giant among jazz musicians and composers...
Nearly 92, he had a good innings... but there just arnt that many jazz legends left..
Im gonna play his music all day tomorrow in his honour, and in the evening open a decent
bottle of red and watch that excellent documentary again...

Sad to hear of the passing of Ravi, a huge influence on many and Oscar Miemeyer, Im a big fan of modernism
and of course Patrick Moore who so many of us here in the UK grew up watching on tv over many, many years...
Patricks gone back to where he came from...  R.I.P to all of them.... All three have left behind a great legacy of work... Ya can't beat that...
