But.... the boots.

Yes there are lots of custom boot makers. Boot making is not as important, functionally, on film, nor as visible. But who made Clint's Boots ?

Or are we setting the hounds on a cold trail here ? Did they just obtain some boots they liked from a Western store ? Clint Eastwood told that he did not have a spare costume on the Leone Westerns, and foresaw disaster because of it. I think the poncho was sourced locally (this is documented by Frayling).

I don't know if anyone knows who made the original boots.

Spaghetti Western Replicas went out of business in 2018 but Straightline Collectibles still has some. Unfortunately the most common sizes are not available and they only sell Mens size 7 and 8 now. When I asked them about other sizes they said they were looking for a new source but they don't expect to have any other sizes any time soon.
