It's official!!

That is a parody/joke website.  The satire is so poorly done that it is hard to tell, but everything on there is fake.

The World is mad though.

That story is kind of funny:

Quote
Liam Murphy’s lawyer, James Franklin O’connor, told reporters that his client’s claim is “incredibly conservative considering the situation”, and says he is confident about the upcoming trial.

But, yeah we could find crazier true stories than that without too much effort.

Let's test that...

I made $2.7 million today on the stock market.
Christopher has a date with Ally in Paris next week.
Christopher has a date with someone over the age of 15.
Shannon Smith didn't like a movie that Scott Eastwood appeared in.
KC ate an entire bag of Cherry Peel & Eat Twizzlers for lunch today.

Are any of these things true?

It's long but it's great.

I was watching the broadcast of Mariah Carey from Times Square on New Years Eve, now something very plainly went very wrong, of that there's no doubt... But I was a little taken back by the sheer amount of ridicule and bile aimed at Ms Carey on various social media outlets afterwards...

I was a little surprised that she and her team opted to sing live at all under such difficult conditions.. Everyone mimes (lip synchs) at these type of events these days .. Springsteen, The Who even Whitney Houston mimed at the Super Bowl so it was quite a brave thing for her to attempt and if it's true that her monitors were down and she couldn't hear the backing track then she literally had no chance at all... and was kinda left out there to dry by the TV production crew..

I know she's had her ups and downs in the past but at the end of the day, going out there to perform in front of any audience takes guts, let alone one so vast.. and if tech problems let her down (as it's looking more likely now) then the harsh criticism of her seems unfair to me..

As you may know I live in Las Vegas and I work only a couple blocks up the strip from where the shooting took place. Close enough that people were running into the casino shouting "shooter!" which caused a mass panic. I happened not to be working that night, so missed it. I imagine it was even more crazy the closer you got to Mandalay Bay.

If anyone is interested in making donations to the victims and their families, I made my own donation here: https://www.gofundme.com/dr2ks2-las-vegas-victims-fund

Glad you were away from the area, Doug. I can't imagine what that'd be like. A local newspaper talked to a guy I went to school with who was close by when the shooting began and took cover.

Glad to hear you weren't in the area, Doug.
