What's everyones favorite All Time Aussie TV show?

Well it's certainly not Prisoner Cell Block H ;)

I also loved Skippy The Bush Kangaroo. Yes, Skippy was a super-intelligent kangaroo who knew when things were wrong.
She had that incredible ability to tell her master exactly what was going on using just her normal animal speech. ;D ;D

Australia's answer to Lassie

Lin, the stories were also the same..Someone falls down a well or off a cliff and the dog or the Kangaroo goes to get help.. Wow! even Flipper the dolphin couldn't do that! :D ;D ;D

I also enjoyed watching The Paul Hogan Show in the 1980s on Channel 4 in the U.K. :)

I've also spend many good hours with the kids on a saturday morning,(when they were younger)watching the Wiggles and dancing along with Dorothy the Dinosaur.  ;D

I will accept any currency but it has to be enough to make it worth our while and to start off the slush fund to get me home.  :

Mules don't carry any cash. will 8 Silver Horseshoes be enough to make it worth-while? ;)

Well as it is you 2M I guess we could make an exception.   You have a little of Aussie humour in your make up.   However silver horse (mule) shoes are not enough to get me home so I will write an IOU for solid gold mule shoes that you can sign thereby allowing you to be a little highier than an honorary member of the Aussie community.  ;D ;D ;D

Thanks, but I don't think I can sign it..  I have tried doing my signature and I can't write :(    The pen keeps falling out of my hooves :D

Do you want my hoof print? ;)

Excellent KC!  You're clever and funny ;D ;D

75 pound for a pair of slippers.. I only pay a tenner >:(

More Aussie jokes ;)

What do you call an Aussie who scores well in an IQ test ?    A cheat. ;)

Sheila walked into the kitchen to find Bruce stalking around with a fly swatter.
"What are you doing?" She asked.
"Hunting Flies" He responded.
"Oh. Killing any?" She asked.
"Yep, 3 males, 2 Females," he replied.
Intrigued, she asked. "How can you tell them apart?"
He responded, "3 were on a beer can, 2 were on the phone."
 ;D ;D ;D ;D

What do you call a boomerang that doesn't come back?   A stick ;)

Sorry SK :-[      That was a bit below the belt joking about your IQ..   I apologize to all Aussies on the board :(

By The Way, Did You Know a belt is a flexible band or strap, typically made of leather or heavy cloth and it can be worn around the waist. ;)

It wasn't my fault, blame Clint..   He has got an obsession with Spiders ;)

He once blew up a giant Tarantula and I have seen him many times fighting with some Black Widows :D

Well it's after 4pm here down under, so it's officially the weekend!!

The footy season has finished so this weekend it's the Bathurst 500 car race. The most gruelling endurance race for touring cars in the world I read somewhere long ago in the dear dim past.

What is a touring car anyway? I thought it was something you went on vacation in.

I'm not a rev head so it's not my thing but I'll probably watch a bit in the club Sunday afternoon after another woeful 18 holes I'm sure.

Oh, time the first drink of the weekend. Anyone else sitting at the bar or am I here on my Pat Malone?

Yeah it's a great race. I can't watch the whole thing but I usually have the tv on the whole time and catch bits of it.

I'll join you for a beer SK. :)

Seriously, "Pat Malone" figures to be Cockney rhyming slang. ;)

Pardon the thread hijack. While you're enjoying your beer, you might take a gander at this list of "Major League Baseball Players Born in Australia."

http://www.baseball-almanac.com/players/birthplace.php?loc=Australia

The fellow on top, Grant Balfour, has an unfortunate name for a pitcher. If the pitcher "grants" (or throws, anyway) "Ball Four," it means the batter gets to take first base without benefit of a hit.

I wonder what kind of alcohol bots like to drink, there's currently 28 crammed into the bar here at the moment. I spilled some beer out of a schooner getting back to the table.

Sorry SC that was your schooner, mine made it back full to the top. ;)
