I read the first one earlier this year, and didn't even know about a second one! Thanks, antonis, I'll check on it sometime. Might be worth a read.

I was browsing DVDs and saw this movie called Death Kiss, which was released this year: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7886442/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_2

Take a look at the cover. :D :o ;D

^ That's pretty funny. Apparently this Robert Kovacs, aka Robert Bronzi, is trying to make a career as a Charles Bronson "doppelgänger." Here's an interview with him:

It's pretty ridiculous how much this guy is trying to look like Charles Bronson. He must sound different, no, or is he trying to imitate Bronson's voice as well?

KC, to be honest, I've seen very few movies that he's been in. The first "Death Wish," and "The Family of Cops" series of movies that he did when he was in his 70's. I kind of like him as a personality, but am not really familiar with his acting beyond those few movies. I wasn't really a fan of the "Death Wish" concept, so I never saw any of the sequels.

I'd watch Death Kiss out of curiosity. I didn't buy it though. :D That could be a rental for me. I am a Bronson fan, which should be obvious from this thread. I can get into Bronson kicks from time to time and have a decent collection of his movies on DVD.

AKA, I have the Family of Cops movies on DVD, but actually I've only seen the first one. Maybe I should do a little marathon there.

I watched Death Kiss today, which I posted about above in December 2018 (I guess that's one way to spend Leap Day  :D). I watched it on a free streaming service called Tubi. They have ads so the movies/shows on there are free, but there was only one commercial break during the movie. Anyway, the movie was okay. AKA asked a while back about if Kovacs is trying to sound like Bronson as well, and I'd say not really. He didn't speak much but it didn't sound like he was trying to sound like him. Most of his lines were around two words or so. For real.

Daniel Baldwin is named on the poster I posted before, but I hadn't realized that he was in the first Family of Cops movie. I wonder if he shared stories on set about working with the real Bronson.

Today, November 3, marks what would have been Charles Bronson's 100th birthday!

Do any of you like or own all 5 death wish movies or just certain ones?  I own death wish 1-3. I?ve seen death wish 4 and 5. Part 4 isn?t bad but not great. Part 5 to me isnt a very good movie. Really didn?t care for part 5. I may buy part 4 cause it?s not too bad. But what are your thoughts on all 5 of these death wish movies? I just feel like part 5 isn?t worth buying. For me owning 1-4 would make a nice marathon to watch.

I have the first four Death Wish movies on DVD (2-4 are in a set together, maybe even with one other movie), and then I have Death Wish V on VHS. :D ;D I've thought about buying the DVD. I don't think it's as good as the others, but there's some things I like in it. At least the first four have been released to blu-ray, and I would consider upgrading (or maybe just upgrading the first one).

Seems like the fourth movie might have been the first of the series I watched. When I was a kid, my cousin loaned my parents several videos and that was one I remember putting in and watching by myself.

Thanks Christopher.
I've had death wish 1-3 on DVD for couple yrs. I watched 1-3 on a rainy day a few months back. I remember after watching part 3 I was like oh I want to see more death wish series. I was like I need to get part 4 So I ordered part 4 the other day. I've seen part 5 on Amazon video and just didn't care for it. Like you said it does have a few good parts to it. But overall just don't care for part 5. I'm typically a completist. But I'm trying to change that. I try and buy what I like and want regardless if it's the entire series or not. I might have gotten the complete set but just didn't make sense considering I already own 1-3 on indivual releases. Terminator series for example. I just own 1 and 2 only. But I'm looking forward to revisiting death wish 4 as I remember it being pretty good movie.
