These are my favorites when it comes to the humour level. ;D You may not agree with me at all, therefore, the "others" section, in case you disagree completely with my choices. ;)
Anyway,it's up to you now    Take your vote!

 Thoughts, comments?

I voted Horrigan - he gets some nice comic business in that role, and his timing is impeccable.

I like the running gag about knowing about people/pigeons; I love the concealed wepon line - and the sex scene with all the equipment the agents have to shed is a gem!  ;D  And none of this gets in the way of the action or drama - outstanding (as another very wry character used to say!  ;) )

I'd have added Wilson from WHBH - Clint gives a twinkling performance as the old rogue Huston - and gets some great lines from the book.

I also had to go with Frank Horrigan - that initial bout of playful fencing between Eastwood and Rene Russo is very nicely executed.

Gonna have to go with Philo on this one. The scene with the hells angel's being lifted out of his pick up after they got covered in tarmac was brillant. Dirty Harry had a few good one liners as well.

I like the dry, dark humor of the Man With No Name best.

Here's a gem from each:

Quote
JOE: (Taking gun from John Baxter) Sorry, but when a husband finds a man in his wife's bedroom, you're never sure how he's gonna react.

Quote
MORTIMER: Any trouble, boy?

MANCO: No old man. Thought I was having trouble with my adding. It's all right now.

Quote
TUCO: (Reading note left behind by Angel Eyes) "See you soon, id - idi-"

BLONDIE: (Takes the note) "Idiots". (Hands the note back to Tuco) It's for you.

Absolutely, Dais.  Wilson is one of my favorite Eastwood characters, and he has me laughing all through it.  Probably the scene that gets me the most is in the airplane where Wilson has the pilot scare the bejesus out of Verrill:

Quote
WILSON: Pete, I'm gonna take myself a nap. Please don't wake me unless you're sure we're gonna crash cause ... I wouldn't want to miss something like that.

Hysterical.

I know it is not his best movie but I have always thought Clint is funny as hell in Pink Cadillac when Tommy Nowak infiltrates the gang as Will Van Slyke.

Tommy Nowak reminded me of Murdock from the A-Team. Mainly becuase they both used disguises and changed their voices whenever they needed to infiltrate a gang or set something up.

It's the first time I see this thread too.
Clint has a humorous side in almost every role he plays (John Wilson,Frank Corvin,Frankie Dunn,Walt Kowalski and even the tough Harry) but to pick only one has to be Tommy Nowak.

No matter how many times I watch him, I laugh the same way. Sometime, I will make a list of his pearls but that golden blazer, with that pair of white shoes and that fake moustache are the best. :D

Tommy Nowak is the funniest to me.

These seems Dirty Harry's dirty lines in Sudden Impact.

Maggie and Scrap was funny too.

MAGGIE- If I'll stop calling you "Boss", you'll train me?
FRANKIE- No.
MAGGIE- So I can keep calling you "Boss".

SCRAP- Did you bought a cheeseburger for me?

I picked Bronco Billy. Not only is he funny, he's also such a genuine and naive guy, he's just adorable.

I think for flat out one-liners Harry probably has the best deadpan one liners.

I must issue a caveat here though...Lt. Spear is a great foil to Mike Murphy, the bit about the "guy in the dog suit" & I'm gonna shoot me an ilk" was hilarious.
