Hi! My name is Sergio Garcia. Iīm from Spain, and my English is just a bit poor.. so, please forgive my possible mistakes.
I tell you... me, and two other friends have just founded an association in Burgos trying to re-make entirely the Sad Hill cemetery... before 2016, because in this year will happen the 50th anniversary of the film and we dream of the possibility of playing a concert or a theater act about the G&B&U in a "remastered Sad Hill cemetery"

We have the permission of the local authorities... and we are preparing a diploma proclaiming honorary partner of the association to: Clint Eastwood, Eli Wallach, Carla Leone, Metallica, Ennio Morricone and Quentin Tarantino...

If only one if this celebrities will answer us... yeah... could be that our dream start to be possible...

But we know that itīs really difficult...

This is our dogma: "in this world there are two kind of people, my friend. Those who dream and those who sleep. WE DREAM"

I donīt know if I can link our association website, I will wait for the answer... I donīt wanna be a spammer without this permission!

Saludos a todos desde Burgos.

If it's any help, his obituary in the New York TImes, back in 1989, said ...

Quote
He is survived by his wife, the former Barbara Havelone, and three children from a previous marriage, Alan, Deborah and David.

wow!  Amazing photos , oigres17,  am I mistaken or in the photograph can i see the tree that "Blondie" rode out from to cut Tuco's rope necktie???

Its mind boggling to me that the site still exists in this state, it must be in an isolated area, how far would it be located from the nearest town , oigres17?

And oigres17, don't apologize for your english, i think you've done extremely well, but then again, I'm Australian and everybody knows we don't speak english either!!!! ;D

Hi, Don Strouds... Itīs not easy to say certainly. Could be the same tree... and could not be. 48 years after, who knows?
The area is really magic, totally isolate. If you stay in the middle of the stone circle, you could not see any human evidence: antenna, house, farms... The time stop there, you can imagine yourself in the farwest, but also in Middle Age or walking with the homo neanderthal...
In a few days, we will return to rebuild several graves: "bill carson" "ramon rojo" "consuelo baxter" "max-patsy-cockeye"... we are not sure, we listen to suggestion
