I was looking at buying the complete Rawhide tv series set on dvd.  But Amazon has the complete set for like $400 something dollars and Walmart has it for like $300 something dollars.  I think it said this complete set is coming out in June of this yr.  But for me $400 something dollars is too much to spend.  I just have too many other things that I have to spend my money on.  And I was actually a little surprised that it cost that much.  I was thinking around $150 to $200.  I know its a classic and everything but is there anywhere else that I might be able to buy it a little bit cheaper like say around $150.00?  How much did it cost you to buy this complete set?

I do own the whole TV series on DVD. I bought it over a year or so, a season at a time. The prices were all different. Most of them from Amazon but looking through the sets I see there are two seasons bought from EzyDVD in Australia.  I can't remember what they all cost but I don't think they were as much as $300. Of course if you are buying the whole lot at once you can expect to pay a little more.

If I remember correct the half season DVDs costed  around 25-28$.If so  the calculation is 50$ per season.
50x8=400$  :-\

I bought each season separately. From my poor memory the first couple were around the $40 or $50 mark. Then all the rest were between $25 & $30 each. So I'd say the set cost me about $280-$300.

I'd say the cost to me was about the same. You don't notice the cost so much when you are buying them at different times.
