Who do you all think was the most evil Dirty Harry villain?

For me, it was definitely Scorpio. He was one twisted swine, he was!

I would say Scorpio as well. He's also the best villain of the series.

Yes.

Scorpio was the slam dunk baddest villain in a Dirty Harry. A total psycho.

Dont come round me Scorpio.

I got a 44 too. I used it to shoot a snake in my house. Just to watch it die.

A real snake, no euphemisms. A cottonmouth moccasin. A 44 really puts on an impressive show inside a house! My ears rang for 2 days. Or maybe 3. In all the excitement I lost count myself.

Briggs is certainly a contender!

Expertly enacted by a brilliant actor. Briggs was as cold hearted as a snake.

It funny how the best villains (in any movie) are always the ones that interact with the protagonist the entire film. The most forgettable villains are the ones that simply are killed off as a matter of ending the movie. For Dirty Harry it was Scorpio. Briggs was only 50% evil. He just wanted to get rid of the worst of the city's criminals. Scorpio was 100% bad. He wanted to kill everyone.  >:D

Scorpio, very much like the Joker in the dark knight....just wanted to see the world burn. No money, no progression for himself, just the sheer destruction of others.

Hey, Scorpio DID want money ... at least he wanted to torture Harry trying to deliver it!

Ann-Mary Deacon, buried alive.

Double-crossing San Francisco police made me do this.  Now ransom $200,000, used tens and twenties.  One man with yellow bag.  Southside Marina.  Green East Harbor.  9 p.m.  She has oxygen until 3 a.m. tomorrow morning.

Red panties and bra.  Nice tits.  Mole on left thigh.  Anything cute and you'll force me to let the girl die of slow suffocation.

Ah, yes - Scorpio!

Andrew Robinson's performance as Scorpio was so intense that the actor found himself 'typecast' to the extent that the only significant roles offered to him for a long time afterward were those of psychotic killers, according to what I have read.

Yet, the Scorpio character wasn't even mentioned by a proper name in the end titles of "Dirty Harry"...  all it said was "Killer... ANDY ROBINSON"!

Once read a interview with Andrew Robinson some years back that he was disappointed he never got a chance to work with Eastwood again especially when Eastwood became more prolific as a director.
