I hope nobody's thought of this one yet; name the 2 movies in which Clint said, "That's me at the door."
-
Ok, I guess this was tougher than I thought. Here's a couple of clues; both are thrillers-the first one was released in the early '70s, the second in the late '90s.

Somehow this just isn't ringing a bell (so to speak) ... ???
While we're waiting, can anyone quickly recall the two films in which Eastwood's character declares that he is not a member of a monastic order? :D ;)
-
i expect in every film ;D
and mutters to himself everyday

Hi KC, I'm stumped. Also, I forgot to mention that Clint's talking on the phone when he says, "That's me at the door."
-
KC, is one of them "Two Mules For Sister Sara"?
-
The 70's one is Play Misty for me .
Philo .
-
Correct, Philo...and that was the hard one.

KC, is one of them "Two Mules For Sister Sara"?
Nope! :)

KC, is one of the movies The Bridges of Madison County?
-
That's right, mgk ... have you got the quote for us?
-
Without looking it up, is it.........
I may be a loner but I'm not a monk
-
Without looking it up, that is correct!
-
Play Misty for me again.
Dave (to Tobie)
"Well I haven't exactly been monk of the month"
Philo .
-
That is correct, Philo!
-
Easy clue for 2nd movie w/"That's me at the door."; Lucy Liu was in it. (what a giveaway!)
-
It's "True Crime" right?
-
We have a winner!
-
I was pretty sure about the movie, but can't recall offhand where Clint's character says it? ???
-
One of the times Steve Everett is on the phone with his wife and she's asking what's taking him so long to get home. Funny thing is, my friend & I liked the saying and began using it; then we came across Dave Garver saying it in Play Misty For Me. (In that movie, Garver is talking to Toby on the phone when he says it)
