Good Omens by Neil Terry Pratchett & Neil Gaiman.

Pretty hilarious book. It's about the son of Satan, the coming of the End Times, and an angel's & a demon's attempt to stop it from happening because they've gotten used to the life they have on Earth.

There have been a few terrible penalties loses lately. England (though that's not a shock), the USA, and Brazil. Jeez.

I'd probably go back in time to prevent the death of a lot of young artists who died before their prime, like say, Jimi Hendrix. After killing Hitler, of course.

Haven't been around the board so much these days. I will try to rectify that. I did want to join in on the AFOD movie night, but I just wasn't in the mood that day and I had other plans.

Charlie Sheen for least favorite. Crappy performance in a crappy movie.

Eli Wallach and Morgan Freeman are tied for favorite co-star. Two great performances in two great movies.

Does anyone here watch Bones?

It's been going for about 5 seasons but I'd never watched an episode until last week when a friend at work was talking about the author of the books that the series is based on, Kathy Reichs.

I was lucky enough to get the first book in the series last weekend and have watched three episodes from the series this week. Only problem being that they're from different seasons so I'm a little lost trying to find out who's who.

Any fans out there?

I'm a fan. Not one of my favorite shows, but I do like it. I don't read the books though so I don't know how the characters match up, if some were new to the show, etc though.

Haven't been reading too much lately, just re-reading a few favorites.

Novel:

Comics:

And I'll probably work my way through the rest of the series too.

General Discussion / Re: Clint's Most Underrated Film

I've always been partial to Space Cowboys. I'd say that one is underrated. Maybe Breezy and The Beguiled too.

Great movie. One of my favorites. Bye everyone.

12
Groggy should have quit while he was ahead.

13
One of my favorites shots from the movie, when Manco's hand appears with the other watch.

14
Well, this isn't as bad as all those versions of Blade Runner.

15
Gotta love the way Manco fools those two bandits.

16
Lots of evil laughing/giggling in this movie.

02:11:39 according to the timer.

I don't know yet but I'm at the 1:40:00 right now... :o  Indio is just confronting Manco...

That's around where I was.

I think my DVD has extra footage or something because It seems that I’m always falling behind… ???

How long is your copy?
