Collectors' Corner / The going rate for this CD ....

The seller says ....
Here is the complete, ultra-rare, long out of print Limited Release of the late Jerry Fielding’s brilliant score for the Clint Eastwood epic THE OUTLAW JOSEY WALES.
The CD was produced and meticulously manufactured by Screen Archives from the original digital recordings from the Fielding family estate!  It contains every cue in the film, including alternate versions, and even some cues that were not in the film.  The entire soundtrack runs 58:07, and the sound is so crystal clear that it feels like the orchestra is in your living room!

I wonder if there is any reason for Warner's not releasing this. I can't see why as we have had Fielding's Enforcer score released recently.
Will see if this goes any higher, someone must really want this.

Eastwood News / Gran Torino reviewed on Film 2009 tonight

Saw a preview yesterday and normally wouldn't recommend this show. However they do give a fair bit of time to the film and feature a standard promo interview.

It is on BBC 1 tonight.

Actress/singer Mae Mercer has died after a year-long battle with poor health. She was 76.

The Dirty Harry actress, who first made her mark singing the blues in Paris, France, before returning to America to seek fame and fortune, suffered two strokes in 2007.

She was found dead at her home in Northridge, California on 29 October.

As well as an appearance in Clint Eastwood's Dirty Harry, Mercer also featured in the movie star's The Beguiled and TV shows like, Kung Fu and Mannix.

In recent years, she appeared in dramas The Shield and E.R.
