Oh man... I forgot how crazy that girl was!  Brings back memories of when my roomate's girlfriend would show up at the apartment looking for him (because he didn't want to be found), wouldn't leave and then slept in his bed waiting for him.  I would call and tell him that she was over and towards the end he wouldn't even bother coming back to the apartment...  I'd make her breakfast in the AM and she would leave.

Sorry for the late replies guys... My one year research project at work came due.  Plus my laptop blew up right in the middle of it all...

Answer 1:  A Moroccan Fistful of Dollars since I have never seen another - it is in my poster collection and she can't get it anywhere else.  She could have it for free if she came to pick it up and gave me a peck on the cheek...

Answer 2 (since I am still married and the whole reality thing):  I would go for the Fistful of Dollars Italian 4F 68RR and it would probably run $2500...

How do we tag again?

So is this challenge like a final exam? As long as we get them in before the end, we pass???  :D

Work has really sucked the last few weeks...  Spring Break next week!  I should be able to catch up on multiple things...

Charlie: You're our poster expert, so I'll go with a poster question...

Britt Robertson was recently reading our board to see what we're saying about her co-star's dad (I believe you posted a picture of her doing exactly that, just can't read the screen). She was so impressed with your posts of posters from A Fistful of Dollars and For a Few Dollars More that she leaves it in your hands to pick her out one Eastwood film poster to grace her home. Just one, and money is no object. She says "I know you won't let me down, and will pick out one I'll love."  Which one do you choose, and about how much will it cost her?

Nope.  ;)  I started watching the first sequel this morning.  I always enjoy the first two, not looking forward to the third because upon first seeing it I was disappointed.  That was eons ago, though, so now I'm willing to give it another chance.

Sophia will grown on you...  I think once I became a father of a beautiful girl, I forgave Coppola.  I mean who gives a $#!t what other people think - that's his princess out there.

Laura (1944) - Gene Tierney, Dana Andrews & Clifton Webb

Reap the Wild Wind (1942)

I'm humored by this poster.  In the actual film, Ray Milland gets top billing and the girl at the end of the story.  John Wayne does a nice job as the good guy/bad guy of the story.  The film is just fine, but isn't served well by the recurring theme about the importance of America's sea power.  The monologue during the opening credits doesn't really have anything to do with the story.  It's just 1942 propaganda.  That said, I still like the film and thoroughly enjoyed  the time spent with it.

What did you think? Was it good?

It was a Nicholas Sparks book (The Notebook) so it was real romantic and what not.  It was good - watched it with the wife.

Coogan's was good.  I just wish some of these women would get naked...  I need the unrated Eastwood collection.

I watched the longest ride because of Britt Robertson and later discovered that the male lead was Scott Eastwood...  Coincidence???  I think not...

Discussion Board Troubleshooting / Using Flash to embed youtube videos....
« on: February 13, 2016, 04:32:34 PM »
Richard has enabled flash... Which means we can embed videos from youtube.  I am sure you can do other things but I've only used it for videos....

Basically it goes like this:

1.  Start your flash command by using the button above.  It should provide both ends of the flash command.

2.  Set your size (you have to or it won't work).  I suggest "=650,390".... or else the default is "200,200".

3.  You want to paste in the youtube address.  Here is where it gets a bit tricky.  You want it to use the old youtube "https://www.youtube.com/v/" coding like this - https://www.youtube.com/v/BUKV9TKBEwo  You can copy and paste the last part of the web address.  For example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUKV9TKBEwo - you would copy the "BUKV9TKBEwo"

https://www.youtube.com/v/BUKV9TKBEwo

<a href="https://www.youtube.com/v/BUKV9TKBEwo" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" class="bbc_link bbc_flash_disabled new_win">https://www.youtube.com/v/BUKV9TKBEwo</a>

I know this seems painful but one guy use to have a encoder and if I can find it I will share...

I like this:

Your 13th birthday was Monday, October 19th 1992.
Did you break the rules when you saw the #1 movie?
Under Siege

Who could forget the cake scene.  I think I remember sneaking this one on satellite...
