Off-Topic Discussion / Re: HAPPY BIRTHDAY AGENT!
« on: November 04, 2007, 12:37:16 PM »
Hey all -

Thanks for the well-wishing, sorry I’m not around much these days. The job is consuming so much of my time that it’s not often I’m surfing the web anymore. Traveling has a lot to do with it, and being restricted to a secure environment at the facility prevents me from going to most websites anymore, including this one. Being it’s Sunday and I’m at home (for once), thought I’d check the site and lo and behold - thanks again for remembering.

CL....been having talks & meetings with the Canadians recently, amongst lots of things - can’t get into the details unfortunately. No one up there’s ever heard of you, however... ;)

CvW... funny pic. If I wore a hat on like that I’d have the same expression. ;) Been visiting several parks lately, again - can’t really get into the specifics – but it’s been fun I must say, despite being business. But no one can say you can’t enjoy the surroundings. The mugshot below was taken at Canyonlands NP where I had to go a few weeks ago. Swung by Arches NP as well, was really breathtaking. I’m sure you’ve been to those places and have some nice pics to share. When I get a chance (one of these days) I’ll post some scenic pics I took, however I have to get permission on which ones are okay to post. Silly, isn’t it?

KC ... thanks for the cake. I’ve been eating so much lately (out on the road) I suppose an extra piece of cheesecake isn’t going to hurt!

Lilly ....Ha! Yeah we old timers rock, eh? ;)

To the rest of you, thanks again. Hope to swing by more often - hopefully by end of year the job will slow down. It is taking a toll on me. Have to fly out again tomorrow. Until then, take care and we’ll see you all around soon.

Regards,

Agent

First one (WaW), supposedly the zenith of all WWII documentaries - although it's over than 30 yrs old, hosted by none other than Laurence Olivier himself. Gibson's Mayan epic was quite a pleasant surprise....had to add that to the library.  8)

Not sure about Agent (though I assume he used it too) but I used Adobe Photoshop.

Yes, Photoshop and ImageReady for the animated one.

Are the sushi in the first picture former denizens of the aquarium, Agent?

That's very possible, KC...never thought about it!   ;)

Here's a blowup of it:

What about this one? Does it appear to be authentic (going for $175 on this site)?

It actually says "signed by Clint Eastwood / Jeff Daniels," so possibly could be Daniels'? There's a slight resemblance when compared to another JD autograph I saw on Ebay, but not much. Certainly not Eastwood's.
