General Discussion / league of their own
« on: December 12, 2003, 08:15:56 AM »
after movies like 'unforgiven' and now 'mystic river' do you agree that clint falls in the league of directors like martin scrossese, david lean , ridley scott , james cameron  and other great ones i mean is he more of a director than an actor.

remarkable performance by our man. he is absolutely stone cold and  the moment  we get the glimpse of  the stranger  emerging , accompanied with the backgroung score  moving towards  lago gives an errie feeling the similar thing was somewhat repeated withpale rider.

arnie boy does not stand a chance infront of clint.what happened to the terminator , if i am not wrong it was mr eastwood  and arnie who had a common interest in terms of body building and fittness

Clint Eastwood Westerns / Re:westerns
« on: May 19, 2003, 01:27:07 AM »
Clint starred in ten westerns:

A Fistful of Dollars
For a Few Dollars More
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
Hang 'em High
Two Mules for Sister Sara
Joe Kidd
High Plains Drifter
The Outlaw Josey Wales
Pale Rider

Before these, he was in "the worst western ever made" (in his words) Ambush at Cimarron Pass.  He didn't have the starring role in that one.
paint your wagon was also a western
