The young lady who accompanied me to the release of Unforgiven  has been Mrs Gant for the past 27 years 😁
We all have it coming kid ...

I've seen each Eastwood film at the cinema since "White Hunter , Black Heart" ,33 years ago. I was 15 .
That's the Rookie for me, regarding continuity.
Seen a few during the 80's,too.
Same old age....

There is some sort of a celebration for the 100 years of WB during this week. There are screenings of the giant, towering inferno and a few others.
Last night I had the opportunity to watch Dirty Harry-double billed along with the Yakuza- for the first time on the big screen.
This film was the first one I rented when my family purchased a VCR during the '80s.,so I'll always have fun memories.
I certainly feel lucky this summer.

He's definetelly sitting in front of the camera...

The 3d insta link starts with the filming of a scene.
Is this my idea or Mr Hoult is heading towards the bench where Mr Eastwood is sitting , as seen in the next photo. He can't be directing with two strangers sitting next to him.
Can he ?

No.
Not the same theater.
Just happened.
Two special screenings in the same week.
What a week 😀

Escape from Alcatraz ,last night.
First time theater viewing.
The theater was totally over crowded. There were people standing and others lying on the floor.
Didn't see this one coming.
Great experience .

Last night I had the rare opportunity to watch GBU in a theater.
I've seen this film in a theater twice before but, this was during my childhood in the 80's.
I was pleasantly surprised discovering that there were several people waiting to enter the theater about an hour before the viewing was scheduled.
As one can imagine the theater was fully crowded and the crowd applauded and cheered all the time.
Didn't expect that.
Guess I should 😀

He has stated "working till 105" ....
Suppose we are entering the next phase of his career ,concerning his last film rather his last staring role.

No health problems at all.
There are various pics from recent occasions published from members of his family on Instagram (at least).
He looks as always .
His first wife Maggie has memory issues though

Thanks for the link :)
That said one has to admit that this doc is probably the worst one ever about Mr Eastwood.
It's really laughable the way they narrate another -probably public domain or at least cheap enough- previous effort on the same subject.
Seriously now ?

hello everyone,
it's been almost 2 years and yet there is no word on Clint's next project. this total silence made me to take it on twitter and asked his publicist, SUZANNE, what Eastwood is busy with right now. She said that a film and a documentary have been finalized at WB. She continued that she can provide no more information on the matter.

I can't say for sure that this account is legit. But I really hope that this is true. what do you think?

Just read an insta post about Mr Eastwood attending a doc film premiere. He is refereed as the narrator  of the documentary, the subject of which is the Monteray Bay National Marine Sanctuary. I suppose this is the doc mentioned from "Suzanne" and expect further good news asap😀

Thanks Mac

Hearing from a Malpaso source that as of yesterday, "another project has been finalized today for another film that the boss will direct."
Tantalising and no details, but hopefully a positive sign....

Any news ?

Saw it again .Liked it better this time. Nobody mentioned it yet but at the end of the credits there is a dedication to Alan (Murray I suppose)
