General Discussion / Re:Sean Penn's performance in Mystic River
« on: July 05, 2004, 03:27:09 AM »
I'm not sure that I agree with Sean Penn just having one style of acting.  In his two roles of last year he gave totally different performances.  In Mystic River I can see why some think he ws overacting (at times) although I disagree myself, while in 21 Grams he gave a far more subtle performace.

While I think that he did deserve an Oscar last year I would have said that it should have been for 21 Grams instead of Mystic River.  He shoud really have been nominatted in both.

General Discussion / Every Which Way But Loose Guitar Chords
« on: July 05, 2004, 03:10:43 AM »
I was asked for the chords for Every Which Way But Loose so here they are:

Quote
Every Which Way But Loose - Chords

    G
Iâve always been the kind of man,
       D
Who doesnât believe in strings.
Em
Long term obligations,
             D
Are just unnecessary things.
      C                            D
But girl youâve got me thinkinâ,
                  G                           Em
While Iâm drinking one more beer.
Am
If Iâm headed, for a heartache,
                       D7                         C D
Then why the hell am I still here.
      G
Iâm testing my resistance,
              D
And itâs wearing mighty thin.
Em
Iâve got the feeling I should leave,
    D
Before the roof caves in.
      C                         D
My mind tells me to move along,
             G                    Em
But my body begs me stay.
Am
And now I feel the need to hold you close,
        D7
And love the night away.
NO CHORD
While youâre turning me.

CHORUS

                G
When the sun comes up in the morning,
               D
It should find us someplace new.
       Em
But right this minute all I want,
        D
Is to lay here next to you.
 C     D
Those memories still keep calling me,
         G                           Em
From somewhere in my past.
          Am
Better hurry, if they want me,
                    D7
Cause I can feel me fading fast.
NO CHORUS
While youâre turning me.

CHORUS AGAIN

******CHORUS******

C
Every which way but loose, you turn me
G
Every which way but loose.
   D                                                    G
Inside the fire is burning me, in my mind
                       D
You just keep turning me.
C
Every which way but loose.
G
Baby thereâs no excuse, to turn me
D                  C           G
Every which way but loose.

Come on you lot.  It's not that hard there are thousands if not hundreds of thousands of links out there.  If your getting really stuck why not do chain links so you have to go through two actors instead of one to get to Clint.  Or get to an altogether different actor using Clint as a middle chain link. Lets have some imagination. ;)
