I saw deliverance first time the other night. Very interesting movie. Really not sure how I feel about it. It's defenately a great movie. But it's very dark and gritty type movie. Entertaining yet hard to watch at times too.

Black Christmas 1974 is an awesome Christmas horror movie. Top 10 horror movie for me.

Oh yeah happens to me a lot. A ton of movies I watch first time and I don?t like them at all. But then second or third watch I do a complete turn around. Some examples are step brothers, Napoleon dynamite, Broken arrow Jimmy Stewart western, They Live. Just to name a few.  Whatever reason I didbt care for these first viewing. But I did a complete turnaround after second and third watch. It?s usually movies with me. But I use to not be a big fan of burt Reynolds acting. But I?ve recently watched a few and I like him much better now. He?s an icon for sure. But for me I never cared much. Until recently watching some of his movies in a marathon type thing.  I can see thst happening with Adam Sandler with alot of people. Great topic!

Which documentary, Rawhide? I noticed Tubi has a few specials about him too.
It?s called The Secret Life of Clint Eastwood. Was pretty good. I own the A and E biography of Clint on dvd. But this doc was pretty interesting. 70 mins long. But it?s free with ads so it?s a bit longer.

Happy Birthday Mr. Eastwood. A true legend. Watching a documentary of him on Amazon prime right now in honor of his Birthday.

Yeah Thunderbolt and Lightfoot is a great one!  I would have loved to see it at the theatre.

Had my annual stay in day marathon yesterday for Eastwood.  Watched million dollar baby, In the line of fire, and fire fox. Guess more like a mini marathon. I consider 4 or more movies to be a marathon. But these were all over two hrs long so just watched these three. I?ll be watching Absolute Power tonight. Every year in May Clint?s bday month I like to have a stay in day marathon where I stay in all day and usually watch 4 or more of his non western/non Dirty Harry movies. Cause I watch all of his westerns and Dirty Harry movies every yr already. So I like to watch some of his others during May. I?ll also watch one on the 31st his bday. Any of you usually watch one of his movies on his bday May 31st?

Thank you AKA23. And good point Gant.

Thats good to hear. I know hes in his 90s now and sad thst Warner bros is treating him like thst. But Im glad he hasnt said this is it. I know Cry Macho is not a great movie. But I enjoyed it for what it is. I actually thought it had some good moments. Juror #2 looks like it?s going to be a good one. And looks like hes listed as part of the cast. If he is acting in it hopefully hes got a big part in it. If he acts again I would love to see him go out on a strong note acting wise. Cry Macho while fun at times for me id like to see him end on a better movie as far as acting. Like Clint and Scott acting together in a comedy cop type movie. With Clint being a retired cop of course helping Scott or something like that. Just like to see Clint act in one more movie thats great enough to end on. Thst would be cool.

Just curious has Eastwood actually said this will be his final film?  I know hes in his 90s but he has said in the past he wants to keep making movies at 100 yrs of age. Just not sure why there saying its his last film if he hasn?t himself said it is.

Which one you like better? Demolition man or Judge Dredd?
