Happy belated birthday Clint.  You are the best. O0

I think he's too old to act in a Western but I wouldn't mind seeing him direct one.

Eastwood News / Re: Jersey Boys: Production Information and News

I'm excited about this film.  I was worried that maybe Clint had retired.  I don't mind musicals.  I actually loved Paint your wagon.  ;D  I also like biographies so it looks like I get two genres in one.  IMO Clint has only made a handful of poor movies so he's earned the right to be involved in any project he wants.

I have all of his movies except Lady Godiva, Away all Boats. Never Say Goodbye and  Star in the Dust.

Clint's really been out of the news lately.  It's been so quiet.

Happy New Year everybody. O0

Clint always talked about directing into his 90's so I hope he hasn't retired. Maybe as Lin  said, he's just taking a rest.  I hope that's the case.

I agree.  Two of my favorite Eastwood movies are Bronco Billy and Honkeytonk Man.  They both under performed at the box office.  But I'm glad he made them.  In the years ahead people make look differently at Trouble with the Curve.  Just because Gran  Torino was a great movie for Eastwood to go out on shouldn't mean that  he can't still act in movies that he enjoys.

Hi everybody.

I'm a huge Clint Eastwood fan.  I've lurked on this board for years and I've got to say this is a great website. My favorite Eastwood movies are his westerns and cop movies but I don't think he has very many bad movies in his whole filmography.  You can't say that about most actors.  Anyway I thought I'd just introduce myself. :)

Thanks KC and Lin. :)

Indeed. Some people seems to ripping into him with downright glee...   :'(

Roger Ebert has commented on the whole affair as well, and written a pretty decent article on the affair

And he likes Trouble with the curve  O0

It's great that he liked Trouble with the Curve,  That's all that matters.

I don't think his speech will have any effect on the movie.   People go to movies to be entertained not to be bothered by politics.  If I stopped going to the movies because I disagreed with an actor  politically then  I wouldn't watch a whole lot of movies. lol
