At one point I was up $2000 and could just kick myself for not being able to walk away. That was at about 2:00 am. I stayed on the tables until about 5:30 am and managed to walk away with a cool $600. First time I had been down there and wasn't sent to the ATM (or Poms) machine...

I couldn't believe how much my little cheat sheet helped. I mean, I consider myself a pretty good Blackjack player but it was nice to be able to refer to the cheat sheet for tough stuff like soft 18's and when to split, when to double down, etc. The first thing I did is walk right up to one of the Pit Bosses and asked him if I could use the chart and he's like, sure, as long a you don't have it on the table. So I either kept it between my legs or kept it in my shirt pocket for quick reference. I split four 8's on one hand and won $200. I also split two aces and hit 21 on both! It was one of the best nights I ever had at the Casino. We had a blast! I have this great system for betting which I've developed over the years. I start out with the minimum bet, say 15 dollars, and if I win, I put one 5 dollar chip on the original bet to increase it to 20 and pull back 10 dollars to my chip pile. So I'm always increasing my betting pile and I'm increasing my chip pile at the same time. At one time I had a $200 bet up! That was like winning 13 in a row!!! (I should have known to pull back my bet on the 13th win

) I also had three blackjacks in a row!!! I was on fire...
Although the River Boat no longer casts off which was kind of a bummer. It use to be nice to walk out on the deck while cruising up and down the Ohio river.
