What was the #1 song the day you were born? Mine is so perfectly fitting.... "Help!" (The Beatles)

Here's the link.  Post yours.

Geez, I was hoping I get a Beatles song too.

Nope. Sugar Sugar by The Archies.  :-[

That song is almost as annoying as a Chipmunks song.  :-[

Haha I like "Sugar Sugar." :D

My song is Mickey by Toni Basil. I had no idea what that song was until I looked it up on youtube. For your viewing pleasure: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NW7VnHnX3LQ

No, I won't watch that video.  You and SK have the two most annoying songs I can think of that weren't recorded by the Chipmunks.  I always hated "Mickey", and that video, too.

Mine's "Bridge Over Troubled Water" by Simon and Garfunkel. Had I been born a day later, it would have been "Let It Be." But that's okay, I've come to really dislike that Beatles song.

That song makes me think of MASH.

"He Don't Love You Like I Love You" by Tony Orlando and Dawn

What's sad is that I remember yours and Christopher's songs being popular. Tony Orlando and Dawn had their own variety show that I remember having seen a bunch of times.

You and I are the only ones here with good songs (so far).  8)

I realize I'm older than everyone (so far) in this thread.  ::)  But, does anyone remember this song?

The Hustle

I'm so glad I was only 10 years old when this came out. Can you imagine being in your 20's or 30's and having to dress/dance like this to pick up girls? I think I'd die first.

The one that your link said for me was "ABC" by the Jackson 5. But every other resource I have used has said The Guess Who's "American Woman". Including this site...

http://www.thisdayinmusic.com/birthdayno1

According to that one, the number one song in the U.S. was, indeed, "American Woman" while the number one song in the UK and also in Canada was Norman Greenbaum's "Spirit in the Sky", and the number one song in Australia was The Beatles' "Let it Be".
