Honkytonk Man is worth reading, though, if you ever come across another copy.

Brian, did you complete the full Challenge? If so, make a note on your Challenge journal with the date completed.

Verify, and I'll be reaching into the magic chest again soon with our next Eastwood Challenge Completion Prize!  8)

No, it's all true! This morning, I was awakened to her rendition of "My Bonnie".  It wasn't good. I don't think that dogs can feel the proper amount of love and grief to be able to sing country/western music.  I've been trying to teach her the dog parts on "Who Let The Dogs Out" (woof, woof, woof, woof) but that dang novel has destroyed her taste in music.

Yes and already done, but thanks:

Okay -- thanks! (I meant to actually put the date completed -- see my entry on the journal, so I don't have to physically check through all the movies, but your validation is perfect).

I've hand picked two small prizes. Now, for the prize that you'll pick....

Give me a number between 1 and 100.

Give me a letter between A and E.

Sorry, Matt, been busier than usual.  Ok, here it goes.  I'll pick "15", the date of my first date with Diana in December, 1995, the date of her birthday in September and the date we got married in August, 1998.  Continuing with this theme, I'll choose the first letter of her first name, "D".

Thank you very much and thanks again for this great idea.

Okay, this came out of a YUGE photo album full of lobby cards. Each sleeve has several pics in it, so I went to page 15, and went to the 4th (letter D) pic in the sleeve, and this came up:

Realizing that just a couple of pages back, you would have landed on this -- I'm giving you the choice.

Well, since I've been using Jed Cooper as my user name, for the most part,  I'll go with the pic from Hang 'Em High.  A great image! Thank you!

And Jed, here are your hand-picked prizes.

Because you were interested in finding a copy of Pale Rider, here's a well-worn paperback:

And for obvious reasons, you seemed the right person to have this promo from Pink Cadillac. Unfortunately, there's some orange stain on one side, which I tried to get off and it won't budge. It's probably been on there since 1989.

We're ten days before the end of the Challenge. AKA is still trying to complete. Is anyone else hoping to finish before the deadline?

I was hoping to make it, but I won't be finished that soon.  I will continue doggedly on until I've finished.  With one exception (currently borrowed from the library), I own all the films up until J. Edgar.  After that I will depend on the library.  My work load seemed to lighten a bit and I thought I could see the end of the tunnel.  Quite obviously it is the oncoming train.  :o

Matt, thanks for getting and keeping this thing going.  It's fun to read other people's thoughts both before and after watching.  It gives me new "eyes" and possibly a deeper enjoyment of films I might not otherwise appreciate.

Last August and September were melancholy and sullen every day for me because suddenly appeared skin disease!!  ??? :-X
I thought it was urticaria because I was eating a lot of fruits of the sea when I was traveling in Brittany!  :o
But the medicine that my doctor prescribed was ineffective, so I had to undergo hospital biopsy to determine the cause...  ???:-X
The results after three weeks of waiting not know the cause! .... So I had to wait to disappear naturally!  ???
I think it was because of fatigue and stress more the unusual heat this summer in Paris !!  ???
So unfortunately I did not have a lot of happy feelings to visit here !!  :-[   But nevertheless, I watched more or less all Eastwood's movies ..... 8)
Any case, I still have time yet, because the release date of "SULLY" in France is November 30th only! So it's impossible to complete this challenge in Matt's schedule for me !!  :(
Besides, I do not watch "American Sniper" even I have this DVD! (This was the first film of Eastwood that I did not go see at the theater a long time! But I saw it on TV once anyway ...)  :-[

Anyway, thanks to this challenge I watched "Pink Cadillac" and some movies I would not see by myself certainly, and the entire film "The Witches" and "Vanessa in the Garden" too !!  8)

Matt, Thank you for giving me this occasion!  :)

Higashimori, I'm sorry to hear about your health problems, but I'm glad to hear from you again after such a long pause!

Good luck with the rest of the Challenge. :)
