Well, this is definitely something that I didn't see coming. Original director James Fargo will produce.

I hear ya.  I've said it before, Hollywood is determined to remake everything.  They're so desperate, we saw a trailer for CHiPs.

The film only really worked because of Eastwood's charisma and the surprise change of direction it marked in his career..
This is not a film crying out for a re-make...

And they probably won't stop here. We can't stay quiet when/if they consider to mess with dirty Harry or the man with no name, seriously.

It does seriously bring into question why we need a remake. I enjoyed the original, but I surely would not walk across the street to see a remake.  :idiot2:

You know, I could see them doing it the same way they've done the new Planet of the Apes movies.

This was not high on my radar for favorite Clint Eastwood movies to be remade, but who do you think they'll be looking to get for this? A Matthew McCoughaney type perhaps? I don't see anyone really replacing Clint. He's one of a kind.

At this point Scott can do it. It's a perfect vehicle for him. He has the last name. No major requirement for any acting chops which he doesn't have anyway and he can take his shirt off for the 56,000  time.

Don't they have better things to do than remakes?  :buck2:
